"I'll admit it, I didn't take this whole MMA thing seriously." 

This is what manager Frank Lopso replied when questioned about his passion for MMA in general.

Frank seemingly left the fight game after only having nine fights (with a record of 3 wins and 6 losses) from his fighters. He reappeared on the scene recently, and he recently sat down with me for an interview.

 My first question, and what I think most people want to know, why did you leave MMA in the first place?  

"When i was around the first time, I didn't get the hype. Yeah my fighter won three fights, and won a Pyramid League. But those losses, man, being a newcomer to the sport, they took their toll."  

Would you say you lost your passion for MMA in general?  

'Lost it?....No.. no.   I'll admit it...I didn't take this whole MMA thing seriously, so the passion wasn't there at the start of it.I was just in it for the money. It did start to grow on me, the wins, the love for my fighter. when your fighter has twice as many wins as losses, it takes it's toll, and not just on the fighter. I trimmed the fat, so to speak."   

Then what caused you to return?

"Since I left the MMA business, I have grown fond of it....I became a fan. I find myself watching every event I can, reading all the articles online that I can about MMA, all that stuff. If I am this rabid of a fan, I know I'll take it seriously this time, I will actually care about my fighters well being, and  I will be sure to get him ready for the fighting career set before them."
