Jay: Ray and Jay's Excellent MMA Adventures return with UPF 25: Korek Vs Bush. This event the UPF has jump up in arena size to Hard Knocks Arena in Hilo. That's 1000 more seats for the fans to come watch an amazing night of fights. And I'm Jay, and here with me is Ray, my father. And, he is going to start us off with the opening fight on the undercard. Pops.

Ray: Hey everybody, Ray here, let take a closer look at tonight's fights. Start of the undercard with a middleweight match up between Samuel Nasma and The "185" er. This is gonna be a great fight, what a way to start the night off. Both of these guys have something to prove. Don't let their records fool you, they both have bright futures ahead of them. Although Nasma will be going all out, trying to get that first win, I think Er is due. And, he has the skill to take this fight. Er by decision.
Jay: You know what pops? The Er has had several chances to prove himself but apparently Er is not what some would refer to as a "winner." I believe, he would lose a ass kicking contest against a one legged man! He couldn't beat a one armed man in a slap boxing match! Nasma will pick up an easy win here.

Predictions
Ray: Er by Decision
Jay: Nasma by Decision

Ray: Okay next up we have a welterweight bout with Tane Huia matched up with Kashmire Gates. For Huia the key to victory will be to keep this fight standing, and in the clinch preferably. For Gates the key to victory would be to get the fight to the mat. But, honestly I just don't think he has the wrestling skill to take Huia down. Huia by KO in round 2.
Jay: Tane Huia, Kashmire Gates. Both young guys trying to make a name for themselves in the UPF. Gates has had three fights in the UPF. In his last UPF bout he finally achieved his first UPF win. And, will be looking to extend that into a decent winning streak. But, might have his hands full with the UPF newcomer. Huia will be making his UPF debut and will be looking to start off in winning fashion. Huia might just have what it takes to achieve victory here tonight. This one will be close. I would like to go with the UPF veteran Gates on this one, even though he will have a hell of a time getting the takedown. But, my gut tells me Huia will take this one. Huia by decision.

Predictions
Ray: Huia by KO at 3:11 of round 2.
Jay: Huia by Decision.

Jay: Lukas "Mini" Hradongogoh takes on Aaron Jules in a super-heavyweight match up. "Mini" has had his hands full in his last three fights coming up just short of victory. He will be looking to turn this around and end his losing streak once and for all. Jules has other plans though. Having seen success in his debut, Jules will be looking to continue in his winning ways. This fight should be fireworks! Both these guys love to stand and bang. Let's see if that's what they do in this one. Question is: who has the power to score the KO? Will it last all three rounds? I doubt it. Jules looks to have some awesome power. But "Mini" has a good chin. I'm going to go with Aaron Jules on this one, even though "Mini" is probably due for a win. Jules by KO in round 1.
Ray: Well kiddo, today's the day I get to say "what are you doing, smoking crack?" Sure Jules scored a quick knockout in his first fight but his opponent barely had enough energy to climb into the cage let alone fight. My two yr old granddaughter could have knocked him out just by waving. Jules is managed by my good friend Jack LaBear, so I've had a chance to watch Jules develop. And frankly, I'm not impressed. Jules folds like a cardboard box. Hradongogoh by KO in round 1.

Predictions
Jay: Jules by KO at 0:25 of round 1.
Ray: Hradongogoh by KO at 4:29 of round 1.

Jay: Rocky Plouman makes his UPF debut in the middleweight division against Goban Declan. Declan, a Muay Thai specialist, has won his last two fight coming into this one, and he will be looking to add another. Plouman on the other hand is riding a five fight losing streak and has decided to swap orgs to see if he can find his head. Sometimes when a fighter goes on a big losing streak they have a hard time recovering and getting back on track. Let's hope this hasn't happened to Rocky. With that said, I don't think Rocky with find his way out of this rut. At least not in the UPF. He might need a lower level of competition. Declan by TKO in round 2.
Ray: Boy we just love to disagree, don't we. Plouman is not only coming to a new org, but he is also under new management. I think Mr. Karlsson has found a perfect fit for Plouman. And not only will he win this fight but I predict he will also go on a fairly long winning streak. Plouman by KO in round 2.

Predictions
Jay: Declan by TKO at 2:31 of round 2.
Ray: Plouman by KO at 1:26 of round 2.

Ray: Ok we start of the main card with a super-heavyweight bout. James "Last King of Scotland" McKenna will take on Mawzer VaraKolaudov. This next fight looks like a great ground battle, McKenna holds the edge in Jui Jitsu while VaraKolaudov has superior wrestling. This fight could very well be determined by whoever gets the dominate position in the first takedown. And my gut tells me that that's going to be McKenna. McKenna by submission in round 1.
Jay: McKenna, McKenna, McKenna. Reminds me of Marsha Brady. (Laughs) So it's a grappling contest, and we've got an excellent wrestler vs an expert Jui Jitsu fighter. 9 times out of 10 the wrestler ends up putting himself into a position where the Jui Jitsu specialist can take advantage and make him pay. I think this is exactly what will happen. Marsha Brady will seize the opportunity and grab ahold of one of VaraKolaudov limbs and force the tap, or break that mother f@&$er off. McKenna by submission (Kimora) in round 1.

Predictions
Ray: McKenna by Submission at 1:55 of round 1.
Jay: McKenna by Submission at 2:59 of round 1.

Jay: The former light-heavyweight champion Beach Bum faces Andres Gatmaitan, yet another UPF debut, in the light-heavyweight division. Beach Bum is anything but a Bum having seen victory at the highest level in the UPF, taking the championship. Andres has yet to find his rhythm in the cage. Andres has the stand up skills to stand and bang with the former champion, but he doesn't have the wrestling to stop the awesomeness of the former champs takedowns. Bum will use his superior knowledge of wrestling and Jui Jitsu to score a quick takedown followed by a quick sub. Bum by submission in round 1.
Ray: Beach Bum looks really strong in this one. Gatmaitan could possibly pull off a win, if he can keep the fight standing. But I think the former champs takedowns are just going to prove to be too much for him to handle. Beach Bum scores yet another submission victory in round 1.

Predictions
Jay: Bum by Submission at 1:31 of round 1.
Ray: Bum by Submission at 1:13 of round 1.

Ray: Next up we have the light-heavyweight championship of the world. John "Rambo" Kordic, the reigning, defending, undefeated, undisputed champion of the world. And his challenger, Joe Quinn. The newly crowned undefeated champ will be looking to hold on to his belt using all the tools in his arsenal. The younger challenger has been moving up the ranks quickly in the UPF. This is his second chance at the belt, having come up short in his first attempt against former champ Phil High. After talking with both fighters, it seems to me that the new champ has become complacent, while the challenger is hungry and has that "eye of the tiger." Quinn by KO in round 1.
Jay: You might be right about the challenger being hungry, but that's about it. "Rambo" is a lot like Rambo from the movies. He is quite and keeps to himself. But, if you mess with him you will wish you hadn't. As he is like a silent assassin creeping up behind you in the midst of the night. Without even a challenge his foes go down. The champion all the way. Kordic by sub in round 2.

Predictions
Ray: Quinn by KO at 2:00 of round 1.
Jay: Kordic by Submission at 2:12 of round 2.

Jay: Aw, so we finish up the main card with a #1 contenders match up in the featherweight division. The former champ Bung "Wrecktal" Popper looks to get back into the cage with champ Tanner Pounds to get his belt back, but standing in the way of this is Sydney "Decision Artist" Wilson. Wilson has been tearing it up since joining the UPF, winning all four of his fights. Wilson is looking for his turn with Pounds, but must defeat the former champ in order to do so. And, you know what pops, I'm gonna take a page outta your book and go out on a limb and say that I think that Wilson will not only beat Popper to get a title shot but he will also best Pounds to become the new UPF featherweight champion of the world. Wilson by decision.
Ray: Ok, I think I'm going to go with Bunghole this time, I mean Popper. Popper looked good against Morgan and he wants his belt back. And I don't think Wilson is as ready as you think. Popper by TKO in round 3.

Predictions
Jay: Wilson by Decision.
Ray: Popper by TKO at 1:12 of round 3.

Ray: Alright, so our first main event is a title fight in the middleweight division with Vic "Too Sexy" Cooper taking on our undefeated world champion Dean "The Convicted" Sutherland. Sutherland has been UNSTOPPABLE!!! And, everything points to another Sutherland victory. But, his nickname isn't "Too Sexy." I gotta go with the challenger here because he is "Too Sexy" (like me.) Cooper by decision.
Jay: First thing, Dean is the undefeated, undisputed, reigning, defending champion of the world and you think this guy can come from left field and dethrone the champ? Lunacy, I tell ya! I didn't like Cooper in his last fight and I don't like him in this one either. The champion is, how do I put this simply? Just plain better! Cooper isn't even on the same competitive level as the champion and shouldn't be in the octagon. It's an insult to MMA and to our champ. UPF owner Dale Saw should have never allowed this fight to happen. Dean "The King of Mean" (I know that's not his nickname, but it sounds cool) Sutherland by KO in round 1.

Predictions
Ray: Cooper by Decision.
Jay: Sutherland by KO at 2:41 of round 1.

Jay: Now the final fight of the evening, gives our lightweight champion Michal "The rebel without a clue" Korek a chance to prove that he is a true champion by defending his belt against Billy "Deep" Bush. Many people say that your not truly a champion until you have successfully defended your belt. Be that as it may, he is a champ in my book. But, this will give him the chance to solidify his championship. But, this won't be an easy task. And, Bush is here it make sure of that. Look for Bush to try to drag this fight to the mat, giving him the edge. The champ should be trying to keep this one at a striking distance. With the reach advantage I don't see Bush getting in close enough to land a takedown. Korek will score a KO late in this fight.
Ray: (Talking very fast) We're running over on our allotted time. And my long winded son has left me zero time to comment on this fight. But, it's ok I'm tired and want to go home anyway. So, no explanation Bush by Submission in round 2.

Predictions
Jay: Korek by KO at 2:51 of round 4.
Ray: Bush by Submission at 3:59 of round 2.

Jay: That's it were done. I'm off to take a dab. Peace. (Walks away without another word)
Ray: Remember guys; train hard, fight harder. Until next week, this is Ray signing off.
