First of all, congrats on defending your title succesfully! How do you feel?

I feel fresh to be honest. I changed it up a little and fought a different way, but with the same result.

No injuries, no nothing, so I'm in top shape.

It seemed as if you were fearless against a dangerous KO artist. Am I correct to say that?

I'm not fearless, I'm calculated. I have calculated so far for every figth how much aggression and damage is needed and it has been pretty much spot on every time. I knew Stampfer hits hard on paper, but I didn't feel that power at all in the cage. I hit a lot harder than he does and can take a punch as well. I fear nobody!

You used some different skills this time around as you used more kicks it seems.  Are we seeing a new version of you?

Not really. I like MT as kicking people in the head is a lot of fun, at least for the one who kicks. Ask Stampfer if he like it. I doubt he will have liked it. I have power like a caveman on roids so when I land a big kick or punch, lights go out.

Will you use a similar approach versus your next challenger?

You do not seriously think that I will answer that question right? Are you a spy of Peel his camp or something...?!

My manager and I set up a plan and I execute it, it's that simple.

Sorry, that was a stupid question, it won't happen again.

I hope so or the interview is over.

Well, I have a  better one; What do you think of your opponnent?

Honestly? I think he is a very good fighter, but has a few flaws. He is cocky and thinks he can outstrike me. I will murder him if he does that. But no doubt he is my biggest test so far. I have knocked out some tough guys , but Ragnar is better than them. He has better skills than me, but I have the KO power and heart of a champion and that will make up for that difference for sure. I look forward to fighting him.

Great to see that you embrace the challenges he brings to the table. The fight is only in early february. Why let the fans wait so long?

I know. I asked the org owner if it wasn't possible to book the fight earlier, but he wanted us to fight in their biggest arena in a big event and I accepted. Who else has enough fans and hype to fill that arena....?! I'm the man that people buy tickets for.

One last thing. I heard a rumor, not sure if it's true, that you called out USFC champion Chad Tyrell but that he has refused to take the fight. Is there some truth to that story?

100% . My manager messaged his manager to see if he was interested in the fight and he claimed I had to prove myself more. I am higher ranked, undefeated and have defeated a guy he had trouble beating and he still is going to say I need to prove myself?!? He is scared shitless and clearly not up for the challenge. If he wants to hide and not face me, that's up to him then I guess. He can fight some other ones to try and get a good record, but as long as he hasn't faced me, he isn't in contention to be seen as the best of our age group.

Chickens will be chickens.

Do you see Ragnar as a chicken as well?

No, not at all. I respect him. He comes to fight and doesn't back down. We might have had some back and forth in the past, but I do respect him and I hope that I can say that he respects me as well.

Good luck in training sir and we look very much forward to the fight!

Thank you, much appreciated. See you at the pre-fight press conference.
