145: Alejandro "Osito" Sepulveda vs. Cale "The Doberman" Downes

The comeback story lives on. It didn't take “Osito” long to hit Downes hard. Wild combinations forced Downes to move back and after hitting a particully fast one, Sepulveda hurt Downes badly. “Osita” wasn't fast enough to finish though and got caught with the takedown. On the ground developed an interesting battle.

Sepulveda, who is less experienced at BJJ than his canine opponent, spent the rest of the round on the bottom, but from there attacked tirelessly with submissions. All those attempts didn't bother Cale though. Downes couldn't put his supperior BJJ to use either. He matched Osito move for move, but failed to win the round.

Sepulveda sighted from relief when he could return to his feet for the second round. From there the fight was soon over. Preventing to get in more grappling exchanges, he landed a huge uppercut, dropped Downes and finished him with strikes.

W: Sepulveda TKO Rd. 2

205: Hugo Boss vs. "Hyper" Cingeto Ysengrin

This night was filled with finishes, only two fights went to a decision, and they were back to back. In the first one, two debutants battled. All of the rounds looked the same. The former Twisted finalist Boss clinched up early in the round. In these clinches he didn't land a lot of shots, only landing one third of his head strikes and less than a tenth of his body shots. His overwhelming activity prevented Ysengrin however from landing shot and earned him the rounds on almost every scorecard.

W: Boss UD

170: Terrence Mitchell vs. Walood "The Dugong" Kassab

The second decision was a lot more even. Mitchell used his wrestling to easily win the first round, taking down Kassab early and grind him out once it got there. Kassab got a referee standup once, but that only resulted in him ending up on his back again.

The other two rounds where a whole different story though. Kassab started to move effortlessly in and out of the clinch, boxing him up once it got there. He prevented most of the takedowns, and if he was taken down he made sure to get up quicky. This earned him the decision and he might only be a few wins away from a title shot.

W: Kassab UD

265+: "Jim" James Gordon vs. Seamus O'Halloran

Next up it was time for the big guys. Just like most big guy fights, this one didn't make it out of the first round. Gordon overwhelmed the former Red Star fighting champion with a barrage of strikes. Out of despiration, O'Halloran moved the fight into the clinch, but there he couldn't get the upper hand on “Jim” either, and got knocked out before even two minutes had past.

After the fight Gordon announced his retirement, opting to become personal assistand of co-owner Eddie Nash

W: Gordon Rd. 1

155: Raecius Felix vs. Lionel "wutUsay" Wright

Felix started the contest faster than Usain Bolt on PED's. He immediatly got the takedown. After that he kept lining up sub after sub attempt. All the grappling training Wright did, payed of though, and although he lost the round handely, he never was really in trouble..

The second round looked to be going the same as the first, wit Wright being on the bottom very soon. However, a minute in, “wutUsay” managed to scramble back to his feet. After that Felix just couldn't bring it back to the ground. The same time, Wright started firing of strikes, hitting Felix with a beautifull high kick and a little after that, a lighning fast left straight, dropping his opponent. After that, Felix could do nothing but turtle up.

W: Wright TKO Rd. 2

205: Third Round "YOLO" Romero vs. Aleksis Aaltonen

Let's be honest guys, this one was just a slaughter. Aleksis did a good job fighting Romero at range, but got outmuscled everytime it went into the clinch. In the first round Aaltonen got rocked once and dropped twice. A round that certainly was a 10-8 round.

The second round was more of the same. Aaltonen just couldn't deal with Romero's strenght. Ultimatly Romero fired off a use right uppercut, winning him the match and the “KO of the Night” award.

W: Romero KO Rd. 2

Lightweight Title Fight:

Dag "Dregen" Daghammer vs. "The King of the Beach" Victor Estima

The next fight of the night was the only title fight of the night. Boy did Estima drag the champ into deep waters. The first round was a round that couldn't be more perfect for the self proclaimed “King of the Beach”. He outlanded Daghammer, thought by most people to be the better striker, and mixed that up with lightning fast takedowns, easily winning the first round.

The second round saw Estima gaining even more confidence, abandoning his takedowns, but still outstriking the champ.

Daghammer looked like a broken men, going into the second round. Not a second he got the upperhand, but one punch did it. Just five seconds in he countered a darting in Estima, a perfect recreation of Aldo – McGregor, and finished him off with more punches. Estima was very dazy, tried to grapple the ref and must certainly have a concusion. T

his fight was the fair “Fight of the Night”, and I wouldn't be upposed to seeing an immediate rematch.

W: Daghammer TKO Rd. 3

265+: Blob "Voodoo Child" Sapp vs. Lucia "Destined" Gracie

Once again a short fight in the heaviest division. Grappling heavy gameplans are always though in the highest divisions, and it showed. Sapp destroyed Gracie in the clinch before finishing off the fight at range. I imagine with this fight Sapp will be the one to face the winner of the fight between the new and the old champion, Griffin and Sandu.

W: Sapp TKO Rd.1

145 Co-Main Event: Nameless "G O A T" Fighter (9-1-0, 2-1-0 KOTB) vs. Thiago "The Axe" Machado

Fighter didn't care that much about Machado's brown belt, did he? He rocked “The Axe” soon in the clinch, and instead of tiring himself out, opted to toss Machado to the ground and easily grind out the first round.

In the second round Fighter poured it on again, boxing up Machado, until he got dropped again and finished with strikes.

W: Fighter TKO Rd. 2

145 Main Event: "The Enlightened One" Prathamesh Randhawa vs. "Morte" Vinicius Costa

And with that we've arrived at the main event. Randhawa was too much too soon for Costa. Randhawa took Costa down without even getting hit. From there he chained together subs, until he transitioned from an armbar into a very tight triangle. That being the only sub of the night, he earned the “Submission of the Night” award. For his next fight Randhawa seems to be heading to the rematch with champion Karter. However, Nameless fighter also has a stong case, so I wouldn't mind a title eliminator between the two.
