SKULL ISLAND 2 Review

ISLAND FC, Fight Organization, New York
Company profile by

Skull Island 2 was a crazy and successful night from the Hard Knocks arena this was the first of our "event chain week"....meaning we will have 4 events in 4 days...to kick it off was this one where the welterweight belt will be on the line....most island maniacs were present ,rumours had that, they were here to spot new hit mans and security for their "businesses"....the main road leading to the hard knocks was closed due to incidents regarding a crazy old drunken man was shouting very loud "WHERE YOU AT R..."...i think he was insane but somehow he found a way to get into the arena were he was filmed mingling with some of the most notorious Island residents...the fights were great check them out:

170 lbs TITLE FIGHT  Peter Potter vs Tweedle Dum (FIGHT OF THE NIGHT AWARD)

These was the champion first defense  and he failed miserably to do so....Tweedle started well though, he cut hes Potter in the beginning of the fight and he was pretty confident that it would be a bed off roses ...how wrong he was!... Potter was like a wounded animal and  he showed hes heart, he hold the pressure and then changed tables ,when he decided to clinch, from were he absolutely dominate the rest of the round...surprising and exposing the former champ...he looked on wobbly legs on hes way back from hes corner...and we could all sense that a new champion was about to be crown....well done Potter ...AND NEW....  Peter Potter 2nd round TKO
205 lbs Uzziah Judah vs Theophilus Thundercunt   These was one for the fans ...wow...what a fight...both fighters decided to keep it standing and bang....both fighters with a very similar approach and skill level....but Judah power and striking defence made the difference, and always do, in this fight...superior footwork and composure also played a factor and Judah was decided not to let this one go to the break....he committed himself to it and the results were impressive...excelente striking precision and some really well put together combinations made life not worth living anymore for Thundercunt...Uzziah Judah wi 1st round TKO
145 lbs Jesus Icon vs Andy Dufresne       (SUBMISSION OF THE NIGHT AWARD)   Jesus does RNC's now ...you must be joking but that's the truth...this fight was all about gym rivalries both JJ fighters came into this fight trying to get a pay rise...1 fighter accomplished that the other gonna keep the same wage....we spoke to JJ here's what he had to say:

"we are finding it hard to believe we got these far ,Jesus bounced back from defeat really well and hes getting better everyday in training...well deserved and beautiful RNC win for Jesus Icon in a RNC month for MMA ;)

265+ lbs Klaus Ubermann vs Piripi Tama

Klaus Ubermann came saw and conquered....he completely destroyed Piripi's life in 9 sec...that was quick...3 head punches 1 cut .....Klaus Ubermann 1st round TKO express

170 lbs Hyman Krustofski vs Bob Wakosky

This was the only fight on the card that went the distance and was one serious candidate to the fight of the night award....this was a back and forward battle with knockdowns and cuts Hyman Krustofski  show to be very well rounded and executed good technique  and discipline wherever the fight went...proving to be the more accurate and efficient fighter of the two....he completely dominated all three rounds and was very close to get the finish in a couple of occasions...Hyman Krustofski  Decision win

205 lbs David Hojackin vs Damo Jones (KO OF THE NIGHT AWARD)

David made Damo hes "toy"...he came into this fight like a man with a point to prove and he did just that....very agressive he came forward with superior boxing and speed ...defending himself very well against any type of counters ...it was all over in under one minute and the fans are allways apreciative of beauthifull KO like this one ...DAMMM.hes ansesters felt that one ...OUCH....

205 lbs Gutlaf Lagran vs Rico Mera

Mera looked realy confident with those elbows from the clinch but unfortunatly hes confidence didnt translate in sussess and those elbows were hiting the fence and the air everytime he was trowing it ...very good striking defence and exelente game plan put that togheter with a superior submission game...Mera knew what to expect , we all knew, the problem was how to avoid it,,,the takedow that is...

he was doing well and controling and stalling on the clinch avoiding some takedownattempts but eventualy hes defences broke and he found himself roling in the matt with a superior BJJ figter...not good news...Gutlaf Lagran  win Submission

170 lbs Damian Santana vs Oliver Opel

Santana's heavy hands made Oliver try to graple to avoid being hit by them.....it proved to be the wrong choise ....because besides having heavy hands Damian also pocesses some very underrated submission skills...he made an easy meal out of hit and took full advantage of the clinch to sudently pull guard and then....then you know what happend...Damian Santana win by Submission

265 lbs Joe Lang vs Troy Finch

WTF just happend ...i blinked and the fight was over .... OOOHHHH!!!! Lang throws an absolute beast of a head kick.....5 sec by far the most beauthifull KO we had all season and this fighter will get a bit more then the 2.5k KO of the night ....you can bet on it......Spectacular 1st round KO win

185 lbs Alpha Straken vs Ruke Lockhold

Another beauthifull KO ....this one was a joy to watch too....an highlight reel performance ,and theKO was just to top it all up....

i was very impressive with the confidence level of Straken and hes killer instinct aknowlaging when hes oponent was hurt and moved for the kill ,like a wildcat in the african savana....very well managed and with a bright future in front of him.....Impressive 1st round KO for Alpha Straken
