Location: Los Angeles
Arena: LA Memorial Colossuseum

Calling all knock out fans and hard core fight fanatics!

We have a sensational card to cover tonight, welcome to the next episode of the Dirty Box, where we will preview possibly the hottest event of 2016 so far. In the Co main event of the card we have two former champions, colliding in a super heavyweight bout that is sure to be action packed. Then following that clash, the light heavyweight title will be up for grabs in an all-out brawl between two top tier fighters.

Let’s not waste any more time, and let’s have a look at what we can expect come fight night.

UNDER CARD

Alexander Povetkin v Joe Pistone - 170 lbs
Prediction: Povetkin has a lot of experience with a 42-23-1 record, but Pistone is the clear favourite going into this bout. He is 16-5 and out skills his opponent, Pistone for the win, most likely by decision.

Perrin Aybara v Aleksanteri Karelin - 265+ lbs
Prediction: Karelin is tipped to be the clear winner here. On paper he out skills his opponent, he has great momentum on a three fight win streak and has some impressive hand power amassing a huge 19 wins by T(KO). Karelin by TKO.

Igor Yakovchenko v Michal Tarnowski - 155 lbs
Prediction: A veteran war. Over a hundred and twenty fights combined for these two fighters, true warriors of the octagon. Yakovchenko is on a 4 fight losing streak and is struggling, he is looking to turn things around and extend his GAMMA career. Tarnowski is also coming off a loss, but only one, his record is impressive, a lot of wins by submission, but the concern is he has lost by T(KO) 16 times out of 18 losses. Tarnowski by submission.

Gabe Christianson v Shunsui Kyoraku - 185 lbs
Prediction: Christianson is on a roll with two wins under his belt, he has great KO power and is ready to continue his form. Kyoraku will be a great challenge, he is coming off a loss but also has the power to end a fight quickly. A stand up war to get the fight fans on their feet. Christianson by T(KO).

Nero Padilla v Never More - 205 lbs
Prediction: Never more, broke his three fight losing streak in his last fight and seems motivated to continue winning and get some traction in the division. His opponent, Padilla, is on a three fight skid and is up against a tough task. More by decision, though T(KO) is very possible.

MAIN CARD

#1 - Alastair Gridlock (160181) (RED) vs Jax "Scarslutje" Teller (144166) (BLUE) - 170 lbs

Red Corner: From Poland, and fighting out of St Petersburg Gridlock is ready to continue his heat after defeating Alexander Povetkin by unanimous decision in his last outing. His record sits at 24-13, and with 14 of those wins by T(KO) he clearly has decent power in his fists to end a fight anywhere.
Blue Corner: An American MMA Veteran fighting out of Tokyo Japan, with a 38-21 record and on a two fight losing streak. This guy has some guns, with 32 of his 38 wins by T(KO), this fight could easily end up on the highlight reel post pay per view.
Preview: Another two cage professionals face off in an aggressive stand up encounter. Both have KO power, this fight has real potential for a brutal finish. Teller likes to clinch and strike on the inside, look for that come fight night. I think Gridlock has the goods to control the clinch but I do think Teller can get the upset by (TKO).

#2 - Diego "Nightmare" Sanchez (142862) vs Leopold "Professor Chaos" Stotch (144486) - 185 lbs

Red Corner: The nightmare from Mexico, fighting by way of Montreal, has a massive 46-22-3 resume and 24 of those where by TKO stoppage. Only ever knocked out once in his career over three years ago, this guy has a chin made of steel. GAMMA #545 was his last event where he gained the nod from all three judges in a convincing contest against Shunsui Kyoraku, look for him to come out hungry and confident this bout.
Blue Corner: Professor Chaos fights out of Las Vegas and originally hails from South Park, I wonder if he knew Kenny. He is 38 years old and has 28 wins to his name, along with 18 losses and 1 draw. He has been knocked out ten times in his career and comes into this rematch after a loss at #545, but, he wanted this fight to prove the fans wrong and avenge these two fighters previous drawn contest.
Preview: A fight with history, these two met once before at GAMMA #540 and the fight concluded a draw, which was an absolute travesty. It was a stand up battle, and Leopold put up a good fight and the second round was close but Sanchez should have got the nod. Regardless, the last fight was exciting and had a good pace, we should expect the same here. Sanchez to win convincingly.

#3 - Jeffrey Sarpong (205110) vs "The Mule" Ray Finkle (186711) - 185 lbs

Red Corner: An Amsterdam native fighting out of St Petersburg, at 31 he has built a record of 28 wins with 9 losses and 2 draws. He likes to grapple, with 11 wins via submission but can stand and strike and end the contest quickly with TKO finishes. On a two fight win streak, his last win was by unanimous decision putting him on a high, he will be ready for this fight.
Blue Corner: The Mule from Collier County and fighting out of New York, he is 34 years old and has a 29-15-2 record. He likes to stand and bang, having never submit anyone and having two submission losses, that is an area his opponent will definitely attack. He too is coming off a win, a redemption match at GAMMA #543 verses Kwame Akabaro, the two tied at GAMMA #537 and getting the win in the rematch has put his camp high on confidence.
Preview: Finkle is the stand out fighter on paper, he is the more skilled fighter. Under management of Digga Dogman, he has a big cut to make, and that could affect his energy come fight night. Especially when Sarpong will take this to the ground, Finkle gassing and losing by submission is my prediction for this contest, that is, if he makes weight.

Co-MAIN EVENT - "American Psycho" Patrick Bateman (180187) vs Lan "Aanallein" Mandragoran (169650) - 265+ lbs

Red Corner: The American Psycho lives up to his name with a vicious 35 T(KO) finishes, totalling 36-17-0. At 37 years old, hailing from New York and fighting out of Las Vegas, the striker is reeling after losing the heavyweight title in his last bout at GAMMA #544 against Joe Jordon by brutal flying knee KO early in the first round. He will be out for vengeance returning to the super heavyweight division, and reboot his push toward the gold.
Blue Corner: A former GAMMA super heavyweight and heavyweight champion Mandragoran is the perfect fight. Also coming off a loss at GAMMA #545 where he unsuccessfully challenged for the super heavyweight belt against Tony Slevin, he lost by KO early in the first. Managed by Gale Hawthorne, he is from India and fights out of Montreal. With a record of 36-21-0 he too has amazing hand power with an incredible 32 finishes by T(KO). These guys are going to stand and hammer.
Preview: Both former champions, what a bout. Bateman has him in weight, beating him by a good thirty pounds, height is around the same. Both fighters are coming off a big loss and both want to redeem themselves. Fight of the night contender for sure. This fight is going to end in impressive fashion, and to be honest could go either way. Who has the better game plan? I'll pick Bateman, he has been impressive and will want to get some heat going again after he ended his 4 fight win streak last fight.

Another successful champion coming from the Contenders division of the GAMMA Conglomerate. While in GAMMA Contenders he was a two time light heavyweight champion, he is the real deal and a world class boxer. Tony Siblas is on a four fight streak, he won his first two fights in GAMMA in convincing fashion, and has been given a serious shot at the champ for his impressive efforts. Siblas changed his management recently and since then has changed his game plan and has been using the clinch frequently, expect him to test the clinch and continue with what has worked. Hun is a strong Champion, and will be a very difficult task, too much in fact, Hun will retain the belt with a KO that will go viral on social media.
