Nero Padilla interview

Global Association of MMA, Fight Organization, London
Company profile by Mentor Guru Corleone

#1 Welcome to the studio! When you joined GAMMA, you fought your old nemesis Ray Finkle, a fighter you know very well from your time in CCF. Your record against him was 1-2, but you managed a split decision win to even the score. Do you see a 5th and final fight possible in the future?

-First, I would like to say thank you for having me on, and giving me this opportunity to speak. Secondly, your question about Ray Finkle. You have no idea how much I hate that pinche pendejo! Our first fight was a bullshit split decision that I should have won. Our second fight was stopped because of a cut, that was caused when that cheat head butted me, and I lost my title. The 3rd fight, I won one that one, I dominated that puta! If he wants to come up and fight me at 205, then it will be very welcome.

#2 You decided to move up to 205lbs, do you think this was the right decision, based upon your results so far?

-Yes, moving up to 205 was the right choice. The only thing holding me back is all the steroid user's there are here in Las Vegas. Gustavsson, Willy Stoppers and Voller are all steroid users! Granted, they have never tested positive for anything, but I hear things. The people who work out with them, tell me everything. The title will be around my waist in no time.

#3 You missed out on the 205lbs title, losing to then champion Gunnar Gustavsson via strikes. What do you think your chances are in ever getting into title contention?

-My chances are very good! Now that Gunnar "The TRT Beast" Gustavsson is retired, the title is mine for the taking. I know people who work out at LOD: Top Team in Vegas. They all tell me about how Attila "THE" Hun is a cross dresser. Taking the title from someone like that will be like taking candy from a baby.

#4 At the age of 34, do you think we have seen the best of Nero Padilla?

-Nah, I'm just hitting my stride! Early on in my career, I had a couple of really bad managers. The worst being of course Chris Karter. You don't have any idea how many stories I have about that queer! Always coming into the locker room before a fight, trying to massage my shoulders, or trying to get me to come over to his shitty apartment for any little reason. I don't go in for any of that gay shit, so I dropped him and got my current manager, the great Louis Princip. With him, I'll conquer the world.

#5 Looking back at your career, which win would you rate as being the most significant?

-Well my favorite fight, and my most significant fight are the same one, and that is my fight against Harry Punani at GAMMA#526. The reason being is it's my first fight at 205, and it showed the world I'm not afraid to go up a weight class.
