Organizations Hold Signing War for Fray Bentos' Contract

Las Vegas by Abe Eaton Fray Bentos, currently an unsigned free agent under the management of Hard Knocks, Inc, is in the middle of a bidding war for his next contract. Bentos has had 9 contract offers, and is currently in the final stages of making his decision between two companies. Bentos has the distinction of being the 2nd Place Fighter in the 265+lb weight class after The Island, Season 3. He boasted a record of 12-1 on the Island, but struggled to gain traction in an increasingly competitive game. Released by his then Manager and re-signed by Abe Eaton, Bentos still has his good days, and bad days. Most recently signed to Highland Games Heavyweight Division, Bentos has went 2-3. Disappointed with his debut in Vegas, he recently changed his game plan. Bentos plans to cut from his 286lb frame to 205, an ambitious attempt to redefine himself as a fighter. No other fighter in the history of MMA has made such a drastic weight cut. First, he'll be stopping by the heavyweight division, where he hopes dropping the weight will give him an edge in both speed and strength. Coming off of a UD win of Johnny Owens in which Bentos showed highly effective counterfighting, managing to dictate both the pace and direction of the fight, Bentos has a second wind of confidence. Finding the right fighting organization is a tough decision, according to Bentos. But when asked where his loyalties lie, Bentos said, "Show Me the Money!" Bentos expects to make his final decision shortly. In the meantime, he is taking a well deserved break. He's hopeful for the future of his career, and hopes to turn his most recent win to a long streak. "Twenty in a row would be nice," Bentos added. For now, he'll need to make the right decision, which he expects to do in the next couple of days.
