Generation X treme Fight Review

Date Line New York…In a smoked filled arena ,the smell of Old  Spice Cologne  and stale beer along with hundreds of crazy MMA fans,  Omega Fighting debuted it’s first ever  event., Generation X Terme. Owner, founder and president of Omega Fighting Justin Ass was shall we say slightly on edge as his vision finally became reality. Electricity filled  The Underground as 20 of the best up and coming mma fighters battled each other in the cage to make their mark and prove their dominance in Omega Fighting.

From the opening bout to the Main Event it was non stop action. The night was full of Ko’s, submissions and 3 fights even went to the judges table. Here is the full recap from start to finish of last night’s action that was truly a success for Omega Fighting.  

165 lbs 
Soshnyanin vs. Dyer
     The opening fight pitted two fighters looking for their first win. Viktor Soshyanin and Tom Dyer. The two came out swinging from the opening bell each trading some shots with each other. Dyer the more aggressive fighter landed some good kicks to the legs of Soshnyanin but Soshnyanin was the more powerful fighter landed a right hand into Dyer’s forehead followed by a big left that put Dyer out before he hit the floor at 1:35 of the first round.
Winner by KO Viktor Soshnyanin.  

145lbs
Bravo vs. Dall
     At 145lbs  and most likely one of the fastest paced fights of the night was between Tony Bravo and Vyrkyx Dall went the full three rounds. Both fighters traded punches well not giving an inch to each other. Bravos game plan seemed to clinch and try to wear his opponent down in the early stages of the fight.  Dall looking for the takedowns seemed to be his plan. Dall managed to get his opponent down but had a hard time keeping him there. Takedown by Dall escape by Bravo. With minutes to go both fighters slugged it out and in the end Tony Bravo got the victory but the war I think is not over
Winner by Majority decision Tony Bravo.  

145lbs
Douchebag vs. Brown
     This fight between Dardan Douchebag and Alex Brown went to the mat almost as soon as the bell rang. Brown looking for the takedown right away Douchebag defends well. Douchebag  feints and drives in for the takedown and there it stayed as Douchebag worked the ground and pound to perfection rocking Brown with an elbow shot followed by a shot that sent Browns eyes to the back of his head at 3:58 of round one
Winner by TKO  Dardan Douchebag.  

170lbs
Mendez vs. Dyrdek
     What a fight Angelo Mendez and Rob Dyrdek had. These two warriors gave it there all. Both fighters in the early stages feeling each other out neither one landing many blows. Mendez slightly the aggressor Dyrdek showing good movement at times but was unable to connect with his punches while Mendez was landing his more often Dyrdek kept pressing on, pushing Mendez in hopes of him making a mistake but could find that opportunity  By round Three Mendez was getting the better of the stand up landing his jab more often. Both fighters starting to breathe a bit more as the fight wore on. Mendez working the body Dyrdek slips in a jab back and fourth  and that’s the end of the fight
Winner by unanimous decision Angelo Mendez.    

205lbs
Three Dog vs. Nick Skol
     In the mid-card fights we see Three Dog take on Nick Skol. Skol missed with a couple of kicks quickly gets tagged with a left hand which left him with a cut. Good striking defense from both fighters as Skol quickly brought the fight to the clinch. Dog staying in close throws a shots to the body wearing Skol down ,Dog circles away breaks from the clinch and thud lands a head kick that drops Skol like a rock of 1:53 of the first Round.
Winner and KO of the night Three Dog  

170lbs
Dibwibbler vs. Vishkoski
     Fib Dibwibblewr proved he can take a punch that’s for sure as he went up against Vishka Vishkoski . Vishkoski land a quick upper cut followed up by a cracking counter punch  right on the jaw. Slowing down the pace Fib went to the clinch pushing Vishka up against the cage landing some well placed shots. Breaking fro the clinch Vishka gets caught with a cross, a good right hand rocked Vishkoski Fib connects with a jab which set up a perfect right hand to end the fight at 3:57 of the first round
Winner by KO Fib Dibwibbler  

205lbs
Van Buuren vs. Major
     The surprise fight of the night has to go to Rick Van Buuren and Jack Major, both are said to be well versed in MT and little ground skills. In a move that shocked those in attendance Major pulls of an excellent takedown into side control. Stunned by this move Major decides to stand up. The two clinch up Van Buuren breaks free Leg kick by Van Buuren  Major gets another takedown Van Buuren out of nowhere slips his hips to the side and gets the armbar on Major  and forcing the tap at 1:32 of the first round
Winner by submission Rick Van Buuren  

205lbs
Escobar vs. Zimmer
     40 seconds and that was it. The High risk paid off. No doubt Hans Zimmer will be back.
Winner and submission of the night Francisco Escobar.  

155lbs 
Lee vs. Humm Co Main Event
     A clash between Morrison Lee and Rickard Humm was the Co Main Event of the evening. Humm from the start was looking for the takedown , Humm shooting in for double leg takedowns. Lee sprawling well stuffing 3 attempts lee looking to work the body with a couple of hooks. Lee scoring with nice straight shots. Humm moving with a quick pace shoots in again. Pop Lee with another shot lands Humm Still looking for the takedown Humm scores with the takedown,  reversal by Lee, reversal by Humm back and fourth they go both fighters trying for submissions End Round 1  Second Round Lee changes things up with some kicks to the head, Humm working the takedowns Lee controls the pace with some good footwork. Lee counters with some crisp strikes as Humm made a poor take down attempt . Humm is Rocked  and the ref stops the fight at .39 seconds of round number 2
Winner by TKO Morrison Lee

MAIN EVENT
Boo Lee vs. Hyryx Dall
     Boo Lee and Hyryx Dall was the Main Event of the night but before they stepped in the cage these two were throwing verbal shots at each other for several weeks. The Rattlesnake getting under the skin of Lee at times just added to the fire of this bout and fire there was. 179 punches were thrown by these two warriors. Boo Lee cutting Dall early in the fight. Dall not bothered by the cut countered with stiff right hands. Lee sticking the Jab in the face of Dall, the crowd applauding as the two exchanged blows. Trading blows for two rounds reminds one of Creed and Balboa Lee with the crisper punches Dall dig in with the body blows. Round 3 Lee with pawing jabs combos from Lee doing no damage Dall with a fake and drives in for a takedown surprises Lee. Lee quickly gets the escape and back to his feet. Dall swinging looking for the knockout he needs, Lee fighting for the decision. Less jabs opening the cut on Dall even more. The fight is over.
The winner by unanimous decision Boo Lee
