Dan Gable vs Kaleki Oliweli

While Oliweli was a solid fighter when it comes to the striking game, his takedown defense just wasn't helping him at all in this battle against Gable. Gable didn't really go for too much in the striking department but his takedowns was more than enough to force the issue. Oliweli was nothing but a defender on the ground and Gable didn't do much either but stalling was more than enough to score more than Oliweli. Not a fun fight but victory to Gable. Winner: Dan Gable(UD)

Henry Morgan vs Gabriel Tablita

Morgan hit a huge counter to start the round and he was able to maintain pressure on Tablita throughout the round on the ground. Tablita sure did a good job in defending though. Round 2, Tablita continued his wild swing approach but did land a good shot that rocked Morgan hard but Morgan was able to hold off the aggression on his own and put on a good fight before the ending bell. Round 3, Tablita found a huge hook and that put Morgan to the floor, knowing that it was an important chance, Tablita dived in for the finish. Winner: Gabriel Tablita(TKO:Strikes)

Shane Carwin vs Anderson McGinley

Carwin didn't do well early on and that didn't look good in his book. McGinley didn't even need to really weather the early storm, he just go out there and dominate Carwin from the get go. McGinley was just better be it in the standup or in the clinch and he gave Carwin an early exit with a huge right hook from clinch. Winner: Anderson McGinley(TKO:Strikes)

Ratrick Obeh vs Tsrif Dnoces

Despite the constant takedown threats from Dnoces, he just couldn't stay on the ground long enough to do his thing. Aside from that, his striking skill was not good enough to provide Obeh with danger. Obeh looked comfortable with his striking. Both men were great in the defensive part of the standup but Obeh's strikes were more powerful and that was enough to buy the judges; 30:28 Obeh, 29:28 Obeh and 29:28 Dnoces. Winner: Ratrick Obeh(Split)

Rodney Blake vs James William

William was putting on a decent showing in the striking part and he did land a nice takedown to force the fight out of the clinch position to prevent a comeback of Blake. Round 2 was more of William dominating Blake in the striking part of the game and eventually found a finishing blow in the form of a feint to a left hand. Blake was stunned and failed to clinch up and William just continued to swarm in until a tap. Winner: James William(Sub:Strikes)

Barry Scott vs Arshad Singh

Singh put up a decent fight in round 2, doing his best to prevent an early takedown and he did good there to make it a close one but other than that, Scott was dominating the fight with his early takedowns. Both men didn't do much in the striking department and while Scott didn't really press on on the ground, his top position was enough to claim the win. Not the best performance from either of them though. Winner: Barry Scott(UD)

Aitch Bubbles vs Ryan Apollo

The leg kick strategy of Apollo put the pressure on Bubbles early on and Bubbles was losing the early battle, not suring how to react in a good way. Apollo also tried for some takedowns and got one down in round 2. The clinchwork of Apollo wasn't as good as expected though and Bubbles was doing some good job there as well. It all changed starting from round 3 as that's the round Bubbles found his rhythm and range. He poured the punches on and his defense was good too. Apollo needed to adjust in round 4 but all the corner talk was a waste as Bubbles landed one huge hook that dropped Apollo immediately in round 4 before diving down for the finishing swarm. Winner: Aitch Bubbles(TKO:Strikes)

Pablo Soriano vs Sly Randolph

Randolph sure took the fight to Soriano in this one. Soriano's bet on taking the clinch was a fine plan but Randolph was proving that he was hard to catch with his excellent footwork. In the standup, which was the majority of the battle, Randolph showed that he can be far busier than Soriano and more importantly, he was hitting a fair amount of them. Soriano had a nice round 4 but other than that, Randolph was shutting the champion down and finally, took his throne at the end of the night. Winner: Sly Randolph(UD)

Tad Ghostal vs Li Xiaolong

Ghostal looked so good in round 1, no one could really believe how well Xiaolong defended the takedowns in round 2 and round 3. He was like another person after round 1 and despite some major ground strikes from Ghostal, he held on. Not many can go toe-to-toe with Ghostal standing but Xiaolong was one of the few, showing his all-around striking game to the judges and fans. The aggression level was similar but the accuracy and power of Xiaolong was just better. Not really a hard decision to make at the end of the day. Winner: Li Xiaolong(UD)

Shogun Silva vs Alexander Ratskin

This was all about Silva and his crazy aggression. He was just furious throughout the fight and not even clinching him up could stop him from throwing everything he got at you. Ratskin tried his best to stay with the aggression but he just couldn't do so with so many attacks going his way. Ratskin was a tough fighter though, holding on so many rounds and especially round 3 when his legs were definitely rubbery for quite a while there. In round 5, Ratskin landed the best shot of the match out of desperation but Silva held on until the final bell to retain his HW title. Winner: Shogun Silva(UD)
