Event Preview: LKO Fight Night 10
LIBERTY KOMBAT ORGANIZATION
2016-09-14, New York, Hard Knocks - New York
Author:Jake Fury

Good evening citizens of New York and everyone else who has travelled to the Big Apple to enjoy this spectacle tonight! LIBERTY KOMBAT ORGANIZATION has prepared for its fans another exciting fight night! We will be watching an open weight legends clash, 155 lbs. title fight and lots of youngsters who will be looking to win the hearts of the audience! This event was brought to you thanks to HGH Nutrients Q160 Tycoons Best Quality supps and ---£GUNITGOLDRU$H£---.

Jose Brandao "Favela " vs Sergiu "Hades" Petrescu  openweight category

The main event of the evening presents to you two fighters, who have been extremely impressive since signing for LIBERTY KOMBAT ORGANIZATION. First let me introduce you someone that you should know very well - he is a 37 year old veteran, holds a personal record of 29-19, born in Rio, Brasil and is still undefeated for LKO, Jose Brandao "Favela "! His opponent is also very popular, one of the jewels on LKO's roster, the 26 year old God of Death, with a personal record of 12-4 and also undefeated since joining LKO, coming all the way from Romania, Sergiu "Hades" Petrescu! Both fighters are notable stand-up specialists but Brandao favors striking from distance while "Hades" feels comfortable both from distance and in the clinch! With a win here any of the fighters could become a title contender so this is a clash of enormous importance for both of them. Another key moment is the size-difference between Brandao and Petrescu - the Romanian is a lot taller and heavier. My prediction is that "Hades" has a lot bigger potential to showcase and I believe that he has everything needed to win this.

Dai Thomas vs Conor The Notourious  155 lbs. title

Oh boy, isn't it exciting when you have an open title on the table and two hungry contenders going for it? 27 year old Dai Thomas from Cardiff, Wales meets the 19 year old MMA prodigy from Saughall, UK, Conor The Notourious! It may look weird to you how Thomas got his title shot on his LKO debut, but he comes with an impressive fighting background - still undefeated in his professional MMA career with a personal record of 6-0, all six victories by KO! His opponent, Conor The Notourious became very infamous lately with his "media achievements" - trash talking many famous fighters and now is the perfect time for him to back-up his words with performance! Thomas is an exceptional boxer and his KO streak speaks the best about this! Conor preferably uses boxing too but also likes to bring the fight to the mat and execute some ground and pound. Very interesting clash in which I think that Dai Thomas is the slightly better and more experienced fighter and I think that he will be crowned as LIBERTY KOMBAT ORGANIZATION champion!

Tom Jones vs Yordan "The Muscle" Andonov  170 lbs.

The next fight in our schedule presents you two impressive LKO debutants! The 20 year old talent from Chicago, USA - Tom Jones meets the 24 year old Yordan "The Muscle" Andonov who came all the way from Plovdiv, Bulgaria. It is so rare to see a Bulgarian MMA pro fighter. It's a small nation with good boxers and wrestlers but they barely have any notable MMA success except Blagoy Ivanov "Bagata". Tom Jones is a very heavy-handed boxer, who managed to achieve 4 first round KOs in his 4 fights so far. On the other side, "The Muscle" is an exceptional ground fighter who likes to utilize his heavy fists and good grappling into solid ground and pound spectacles, which brought him 5 KO victories in his 5 MMA wins. The outcome of this fight highly depends on Jones' takedown defense and his ability to keep away from the ground. In my opinion, if Andonov succeeds with a takedown attempt, it's game over for Jones! A very hard to predict fight but I think that Jones would prevail in this one.

Morten Gunnarsson vs Forged Steel  openweight category

The second openweight clash for the evening would be with a fairy tale scenario, and to be more precise we will be enjoying a David vs Goliath battle! First let me introduce you the smaller guy. He is 22 year old from Sweden, with body dimensions 176cm and 156 lbs., with personal MMA record of 5-4 and also with short history in kickboxing(2-1), Morten Gunnarsson! His opponent, a 19 year old beast, standing tall at 200cm, 198 lbs. heavy, the American monster, Forged Steel! Gunnarsson is a very interesting all-rounder, who provides best at distance striking and on the ground, but avoids staying in the clinch, his versatility is also shown by his finishing stats - 3 KOs and 2 submissions. His opponent, Forged Steel, is an impressive kick-boxer, utilizing both strong punches and hard kicks when striking from distance! He is only vulnerable when the fight moves to the ground, so this would be Gunnarsson's best chance to win here! My opinion for this fight is that Steel's size advantage and technical abilities would be more than enough for him to win this but you never know, it could only take 1 successful takedown followed by a submission to prove me wrong!

Brent Burns vs Te Shudo  135 lbs.

Next in line is an interesting match-up in the lightest category. We have the 19 year old impressive talent Brent Burns, who will be making his debut fight for LIBERTY KOMBAT ORGANIZATION. Against him we will be watching another LKO debutant, but a bit more experienced with already 8 pro fights on his account, the 27 year old Japanese - Te Shudo! In his two pro fights so far, Burns has proved himself as an amazing ground warrior who favors the ground strikes but also feels comfortable executing skillful submissions. Te Shudo is a good all-rounder, who slightly favors kick-boxing but also tries the clinch and ground games, so it will be interesting if he would be able to neutralize Brent Burns' exceptional grappling at Fight Night 10! My prediction is a win for the promising youngster!

Montgomery "Monty" Burns vs John Cenasil  205 lbs.

Coming next is a classical boxer vs grappler clash. The boxer is the 20 year old talent from USA - Montgomery "Monty" Burns, known for having a successful high-school boxing career! Against him we will be watching the 25 year old Jamaican, John Cenasil. He is a very good grappler, working well the ground and pound. Key for this fight will be its position - Burns has big advantage at stand-up while Cenasil could win at the ground. My prediction goes for "Monty"'s great boxing!

"The Raven" Bertram Adelhard vs Ragnar Lodbrok  170 lbs.

The next fight in our schedule would offer a clash between two 20 year old talents who will be looking to pave their way to the big fame and money! First we have Bertram Adelhard from St Joseph, USA, 189cm tall! Against him, a bit shorter at 178cm, we will be watching Ragnar Lodbrok from Denmark. "The Raven" will be making his debut at LIBERTY KOMBAT ORGANIZATION, while Lodbrok will be looking to complete a 3 Wins/3 KOs streak, since joining the org, which will provide him with a big paycheck! Adelhard is an all-rounder who feels comfortable fighting everywhere in the cage. Lodbrok is a very strong boxer, who doesn't need to go to the ground in order to finish a fight! His powerful punches from distance are enough to knock out everyone on his way! My prediction goes totally for Ragnar Lodbrok in this fight, sorry Raven but you have to train a lot more to reach his level!

Gunnther "The Terminator" Martin vs Alberich "Barbarian" Audo  205 lbs.

The next light heavyweight fight for the evening presents you two fighters who started their time at LIBERTY KOMBAT ORGANIZATION with impressive wins! 25 year old Gunnther Martin from San Diego, USA versus the 23 year old Alberich Audo from Berlin, the capital of Germany. "The Terminator" is a grappler who attempts a lot of takedowns, followed by gnp and submission attempts, while the "Barbarian" is an awesome kick-boxer, fast and proactive with his punches and kicks! Another interesting standup vs ground match-up, in which I think that the German will be victorious!

Shaw Brown vs Gerald "McGee" Google Me  205 lbs.

The event opener will be a light heavyweight clash between the 19 year old talent Shaw Brown and the 22 year old Gerald Google Me. Brown is an awesome boxer who shows great signs of improving since starting his pro MMA career. His attacking arsenal became richer by adding kicks to his exceptional punching game. His opponent, Gerald Google Me, is mainly a grappler but also has some stand-up game. Rumors for "McGee" are saying that he has become very discouraged, even stopped training so probably he won't be prepared for this fight at all! I am predicting an early KO win for Brown.
