Event Preview:

Hey Islanders, do you remember me? Mister Victorio! Yeah...what? You guys still have no idea of who I am? Alright, alright, alright! I am going to impress you right now.

I am going to bring the preview of Revolution Island's upcoming event Tidal Wave on 9th October. Even though there won't be any title fights on the line, the card is headlined by one guy who's the greatest trash talker in The Island so far. Haha, so let's get right into it!

To kick off the event, we have two winless WWs who are dying for a win.

Curtis Cambridge vs Peter Sycrause

As the profiles suggest, both guys are pretty young but I still can see their potential. Let's talk about Curtis Cambridge, the british boxer with 0-2 record. He actually only has boxing skills and shown his irrelevant groundwork and clinch game in both of his defeats. Unable to prove his boxing, Cambridge's opponent Peter Sycrause is on the same boat. Sycrause is a nice boxer with limited ground skills. In his lone loss, he got completely dominated by a GnP wrestler and lost by first round TKO. I believe both guys will fight out of desperation and we can clearly see Cambridge has the advantage in standup and Sycrause edges him on the ground. Um...let's do a coin toss again, it happens to be a coin in my hand. Toss! Um...the toss stands so it could go either way.

Next up we have two LW fighters clashing with very little experience in the cage. Let's see what we got.

Francis Fitzpatrick vs Frank Dux

What if I tell you an 18 year old guy has more experience than a 25 year old guy? This 18 year old guy Francis Fitzpatrick already had a fight almost a month ago and won by making his foe tapped by strikes. He's a remarkable wrestler with aggressive clinch fighting gameplan. His elbow is a fight ending weapon. Honestly, I think if a fighter can make people quit with his strikes, he can be anything good but a 25 year old grown man is standing in front of him. Frank Dux doesn't have any experience in the cage but he's a skilled ground fighter with decent wrestling and BJJ purple belt. His BJJ is good enough to tap this kid out. I can see Fitzpatrick holding Dux and trying to finish him quickly but damn, I really know nothing about Dux so god knows who will win? Yeah I am god, so I know. Wait a minute......Fitzpatrick!

Third fight of the card we have second pair of WWs kicking each other's sandy asshol......

Clint Barton vs DJ Scribble

Debutant vs winless fighter, not bad. The debutant is Clint Barton who's a Muaythai specialist with nice wrestling. His gameplan is unknown but I can tell you since his nickname is Hawkeye, I guess he's an accurate striker. Standing opposite of him, wait......are you attending the wrong sport? DJ Scribble? You are a DJ right? I don't think this kind of sport does you a favor bro. Look at your loss, you got completely dominated in the clinch for three rounds and you landed nothing. Even though you're an excellent boxer, your approach wasn't right. So I think my pick is clear. Hawkeye Barton! Scribble didn't look like a boxer in his loss and I assume Barton is good in the clinch.

Two LHW warriors are ready to bang for the forth fight in the card.

LHW bout: Erickson Fry vs Ricard Nixon

Both guys are Muaythai practitioners with good wrestling skills but the difference is, Erickson Fry has three fights under his belt and Ricard Nixon doesn't have any. Fry looks extremely intimidating with his evil eyes and chest tattoo. He's the former Revolution Island title challenger but got destroyed in the first round which he's unable to land his trademark knee strikes and got knocked down twice en route to the stoppage. Fry loves them knees to the head but all of his wins are by decision, which means his bones aren't strong enough to score a KO, get some milk dude. While I can see Fry's tendency as a Muaythai guy, I know nothing about Ricaed Nixon. I only understand this guy looks less intimidating than Fry. Let's see what can he do against fellow Muaythai striker and the former title challenger. I honestly think it's a toss up but Fry's prediction gameplan will cost him against a slightly better Muaythai guy on paper.

Alright, another LHW bout folks, but their names......what the living fuck?

Lllaaaaaaaaak Kom Nu vs Karol Rudszewski

How many a's in this Nu guy's name? Nein! nein! nein! nein! nein! This guy doesn't even have his picture in his profile. Back to topic, he's a Muaythai specialist with lesser wrestling but in his lone fight, he attempted 36 takedown attempts and ultimately lost the match. His gameplan is weird, so is his name. His opponent Karol Rudszewski is also winless in his career. Despite being a decent boxer with good wresting, he choose to throw combos after combos early in the fight which can easily be avoided and he got kicked pretty hard. He lost by first round TKO and I can tell you their gameplanning needs a big improvement. With both guys being ineffective with their respective gameplan, I am rooting for Nu, who can get something done in the clinch.

So we are going to see two BW midgets......fighters looking for their first Revolution Island victory.

James Bates vs Phil Morris

James Bates...gentleman Jim. Alright then. He's a 2-0 fighter with both wins in QFC. He's a Muaythai lover who trained in Phuket, Thailand before. I guess he already shook hands with Buakaw at least 2829 times. However, he loves to head hunt with his precise punching. He won both by TKO to show that this man gets some power. His power seems like it can knock Phil Morris out if he lands clean. Morris is a BJJ brown belt with some boxing skills but he looks like fish out of water in the clinch in his lone fight which he got finished. As an effective striker, I think Bates must get the job done by using the hand which he shook Buakaw's since Morris looks less than impressive to me. Let's go gentleman Jim!

The third and last WW matchup is between a mini samoan and a Vatican Citizen.

Balka Islander vs Guido Sarducci

I don't know any samoan weigh less than 250 lbs. I guess Balka Islander is abnormal one. He is a debutant in MMA and he's a striker who has high level Muaythai and respectable boxing. While focusing on striking full-time, his ground skill is...non-existent, about the level between James Toney and Ray Mercer. His opponent is Guido Sarducci from Vatican City. I believe he is the only Vatican citizen who takes part in MMA. He is a Muaythai fighter who has very good dirty boxing with impressive punching power. This can be a very action packed striking battle and I think Sarducci will win this one. Mini samoan is still unknown to me with his gameplanning.

The third and last LHW matchup is between a guy with another fucked up name and a legend.

aTtaaas Lao Liikta vs Sylvester Stallone

Hahaha. Oh my god this guy's name is just.......Is it possible to have a guy's name starts with a small letter? I hope you get killed dude. This motherfucker is a debutant and seems like his wrestling is very on point. And that's all I know about him. And look...Sylvester Stallone with his time machine? How's he 25 year old...wait! An imposter? Fuck you man you ain't Sylvester, get the hell out of my way! Sorry I am too emotional for that. Um......yeah this guy really get some power man, he can really knock people dead with one punch. A striker vs wrestler matchup, retarded name vs imposter matchup, I can see Stallone getting the win since he gets some power and his defensive grappling looks good to me. Not much I can say when both guys can't tell me much with their profiles besides their names.

Hey folks here comes the co-headliner! Hahahaha!

Brian Griffin vs Jamason Brown

I actually think none of the fights above include some good looking prospects and this HW matchup puts a smile on my face. Brian Griffin is a very nice addition to the division, he's 5-1 with 5 finishes. He's a QFC guy who enjoyed beating lesser competitions but he is a dangerous fighter in the first round when he has the most energy. He is a wrestleboxer who is vulnerable to kicks that costed him a loss in his last fight which he got knocked out cold from a headkick. He's KOable and seems like Jamason Brown can do it. This guy is my Ally member Ryne Woodsmall's protégé and he looks so promising. He is a very good wrestler with some skills in boxing and Muaythai. His best technique is tying people up and wreck them with high volume of head and body punches. He can wear you down and knock you out at the same time. In heavyweight division where fat guys fighting for burritos...I mean where big boys looking for knockouts all the time, finish can happen in either side. Since both fat...big boys have power, I won't be surprised to see a double knockout but I am biased towards Jamason Brown since he's my ally and I think Griffin's suspect Muaythai will cost him in the clinch too.

So who's the best trash talker in The Island? So who's it? I will tell you later.

Barney Wehmer vs Giovanni Greco

People said he who sells the fight most, gets the most money right? The main event features a guy who never promotes himself and a guy who is a hell of a promoter. Let's go with Barney Wehmer, the silent one first. He's undefeated in his professional career, 4-0, 4 finishes. He's a GnP wrestler with extraordinary ability to finish his opponents quickly with his ultra aggressive approach. He just beat people up like gang rape and the rape never gone past 4 minutes. With his nickname "Big Uncle", he's only 25 years old and he's ranked 19 in The Island P4P list. Never promoted himself, Wehmer silently training his ass off in the gym for his Revolution Island debut while this Italian-American keeps talking trash like crazy. Giovanni Greco, aka Hitman G, is a trash talking machine with 3-1 record with 3 finishes in his book. He's 2-0 in Revolution Island and is a really solid contender. I think it's the main reason he earned the main event spot. He's a good boxer with world class wrestling but he loves to dirty box his victims. He's a quick starter like Wehmer who can hurt his opponent early in the fight. He's aggressive, handsome, powerful but his takedown defense and grappling is his biggest hole in his as...in his game and that's why he took a setback. It seems like a tailor made fight for Wehmer since he can expose Greco's weak TDD but I am Giovanni Greco's manager. This fight is scheduled for five rounds and I will make sure Greco can conserve his energy. Wehmer's gameplan can't keep him for 5 rounds. I am a biased asshole but I think Greco will win, trust me.

So this is the preview of the upcoming Revolution Island event Tidal Wave. A lot of newbies fighting there but I think the headliner and co-headliner will make you squir...scream like a girl! Let's hoping for great fights after great fights and next time, don't forget my name! I am Mister Victorio!
