![]() When we think of evolution we think of monkeys to people, germs to bigger germs and dinosaurs to birds. There is another type of evolution that takes place a lot less then I believe it should. Today I am proud to present evolution at its finest. THE ASYLUM has made its dramatic entry into the MMA just last weekend putting two World Titles up for grabs. Now THE ASYLUM makes an insane move in the fight game, which given their name should not have been such a surprise. May I proudly present ASYLUM KT 1!!!!
The Asylum upper management wants to test their fighters in all aspect of combat. So, by request, some of these fighters will meet again. This time in the world of Kickboxing.
Steve Styme vs Joey James:
Joey James is fresh off of his Asylum 1 victory and plans on carrying his momentum against debuting Pro Fighter Steve "Timmy" Styme of Combat Squad. This will be the first Kickboxing fight for both of these warriors, so the match is guaranteed to be brutal. James already has a reputation in the sport of MMA but his opponent has the need for a name. Will this be the day?
Crazy Bill vs Joe Tolken:
Fresh off of his Title loss against Gary Gray plans on taking on Asylum newbie Crazy Bill. Though he fell short in his last MMA bout he holds the edge over his competitor in his Kickboxing event. Crazy Bill makes his Asylum KT debut with an undefeated MMA record while holding the #9 Rookie Ranking in NY. Though he has not yet competed in a Kickboxing event, he is wildly famous for his unorthodox style and his extremely violent approach to fights. This will be a nail-bitter.
Big Bear vs Stanley Chrome:
This is the big one folks! Big "Bad" Bear once against takes on Stanley "Peter Puffer" Chrome but this time the rules have changed. Chrome is one of the most feared Super Heavyweights in MMA today because of his superior striking. Currently ranked #8 Rookie in NY in his Weightclass, this Goliath of a striker may have the edge over his nemesis. Bear is MMA fastest rising stars, ranked #4 Rookie WORLDWIDE, he has the tools to defeat any fighter in MMA today. This is not an MMA bout; this, my friends, is Kickboxing. Or is it safe to say that Chrome will be taking the KT Title home?
Frank Fritter vs Bruno Jones:
Frank Fritter makes his Professional debut against feared Boxing Phenom Bruno Jones in this all-out, non-stop action Kickboxing bout. Never has there been a time where two strikers contrast so effectively, excellent job by our match-makers on this one. Fritter has an extensive history of Muay Thai and plans on showing Pro-Boxer Jones how to strike with feet-arms.
