Annihilation! Is Here

Annihilation! Fighting Championship (300k+), Fight Organization, New York
Company profile by Jimmy Love

Ok fight fans Annihilation! is here! Kicking off our first event AFC1: Annihilation! Begins. We have a packed card for a fun and blood fueled night of fighting at O'Malleys Bar in New York. Some good fighters on show tonight all leading up to our main event

Anthony Marveux Vs Aiman Luqman. So lets take a look at what we havein store.

In our main event we have Anthony "The Maverick" Marveux,a fighter who is 3-1 in his pro mma career. Formerly fighting with Total Destruction in Helsinki he's now stepped it up to the bright lights of New York. 5120 A brown belt in BJJ and all 3 wins coming by submission in the first round mean we should be in for some ground fun in this one especially seeing as he's up against the wrestling skills of Luqman. He did get stopped in his last fight though so lets see how he bounces back from that loss.

Aiman "The Tiger" Luqman is 1-0 so certainly not as experienced but this guy is determined! He has excellent wrestling skills but knocked out his opponent on his debut with a devastating head kick so he can certainly mix it up.

Will we see him want to take it to the ground and test his wrestling against the BJJ skills of Marveux or stand and bang....either way this should be a good one for the fans.

The co main event sees featherweight fighter Paul "The Gatsby" Lumihi square up against Jorah Will. This is the old classic striker vs grappler. Lumihi currently stands at 1-1 and is coming off a brutal win that seen him finish his opponent with not 1.....not 2......but 3 knees to head!  Wow i wish i was ringside for that one. The fans certainly won't be disappointed if we see those skills in action in this fight.  Will's career so far has been a bit of a rollercoaster and at 2-3 i'm sure he will be hoping to turn the tides and get that win column climbing.

If he can but the last 2 losses behind him he's certainly in with a chance here. Strong wrestling skills along with his purple belt in BJJ mean if he can take Lumihi to the ground then we are in for an interesting fight.

We could have a bit of a ground battle on our hands here with Brendan "Shadow" Pocketts (2-2) coming into this fight with a purple belt in BJJ against the superior BJJ fighter Tony Riley (2-1) who has a brown belt. Both fighters are coming in to this fight on the back of a loss so it will be interesting to see who has the confidence and fight to get their careers back on track. Pocketts seems on a bit of a downward spiral after his title fight loss but i'm sure a win here would give him a boost and he certainly has the ability and the superior stand up game so we may see a change of tactic here.Riley's 2 wins have come by impressive first round submissions and will be confident he can put the recent loss behind him and tap out another opponent but it won't be easy.

Two relative newcomers in this heavyweight bout sees Lucas Megat (1-0) test his skills against Rick "Big Ben" London. An interesting one here as on his debut Megat threw a high volume of head punches and coming up against the granite chin of London it could be a matter of what breaks first....the energy and hands of Megat or that chin of London's! I'm sure if "Big Ben" has anything to say about it then it won't go down like that though as he will undoubtably try to take this fight to the ground as he did on his debut but even there Megat has the superior wrestling so it could be a tough night for London but an exciting one for the fans who i'm sure will want to see who comes out on top as these heavyweights do battle.

The rest of the undercard looks like this

Henry Blackman vs Dave Roger Demetri Barnes vs Billy Khan  James Brown vs Mick Pelleiter  Myfisturnose Ouch vs Han Mayahasoo    Wanderley Abby vs Conor Isihara     Gary Robert vs Deair Shaw

So that rounds up the preview for what promises to be an exciting night of action in what is the first event for Annihilation!.Good luck to all the fighters involved.   If any managers out there in Tycoon land have fighters that need contracts and want a chance to Annihilate! opponents in the cage then message me for contracts.
