Abraham Donowitz

Fighter profile of Abraham Donowitz by Chris Karter

Division 1 Tycoon World Grappling Champion. EPL Gold Medalist. Synchronicity Featherweight Champion. #1 Featherweight fighter on the planet. He's a decorated veteran of the sport with a record of 36-13-1. Standing at a massive 5 ft 6 inches and 148 lbs, this bearded Jewish giant walks in the room a grizzled vet, booming with confidence, sporting two championship belts. We're introducing Abraham Donowitz training out of Convicted Fight Club.

Donowitz... Sound familiar? Well it should. His older brother was former #1 P4P fighter Donny "The Bear Jew" Donowitz, one of the greatest Lightweight fighters of all time. Abraham's had big shoes to fill his entire career. He started his fight career off in Insanity, capturing the 145 lb title in his 6th fight. His career looked promising and his future bright as he compiled a 10-0 record and defended his belt in 4 consecutive title defenses before running into Martin Saint Louis, a fighter managed my Aylib 2.0 the midget army's supreme leader. Despite beating MSL earlier in his career, he would drop a decision to his adversary on 3 separate occasions and never reclaim the belt. With 17 victories in Insanity, he has the 3rd most wins in the history of the organization. Despite going 17-4 over a span of 8 years, he was snubbed from Insanity's Hall of Fame.

The next chapter of his career lead him to Synchronicity. The most prestigious organization in the game. He'd go 2-1 in Syn before joining the EPL tournament. He became somewhat of a journeyman swapping wins and losses. He put together a streak towards the end of the season and managed to win part of the tournament in the EPL final. Lorne Malvo walked away with the gold medal, but Abraham had soundly defeated him during the tournament. He attempted to set up a fight to finalize the true gold medalist of EPL, but Malvo declined with Syn gold on his mind.

Abe went back to Syn too, and instead of a fight vs Lorne Malvo he received a title shot vs Lil Wayne, another one of Aylib 2.0's midgets, a fight he'd lose by decision. He'd rebound with a decisive victory before entering TWGC 13. He'd grapple with the best in the world at 135, defeating 3 black belts and 2 red belts en route to capturing the Division 1 Tycoon World Grappling Championships gold medal. Abe dominated the grappling tournament but his MMA career never reached the level it was supposed to. Meanwhile his older brother Donny continued to sit on top of the Lightweight landscape, cementing his legacy as one of the best fighters ever.

Abe returned to Syn and knocked out Bostar Tyraanicao before dropping two fights in a row via decision. The second decision loss was a controversial decision to Bostar, a fighter he recently knocked out. A trilogy was in order. Abe would knock him out in the 5th round capping off the rivalry. He'd put together an impressive 3 fight win streak and received a title fight vs "The Nagual" Don Juan Matus, a fighter that had wins over Abe's rivals MSL and Lil Wayne. The fight was anticlimactic and ended in a draw. Chris Karter and the rest of his camp felt like Abe won that fight and most fans agreed but admitted it was close. A rematch ensued and in another competitive match Abraham went out there and took the belt he felt he had earned in the previous fight. He was officially the Featherweight champion of Synchronicity.

"You're not the champion until you defend the belt.", he told reporters in the post-fight interview. Apparently that is the Donowitz family philosophy. He'd make his big brother proud defending the title in two consecutive bouts. He battled back from adversity against Musketqueer fighter Liam Donelly, and TKO'd De Skrumbo, in back to back title defenses. He's the #1 featherweight fighter in the world and he's cleaned out the 145 division at Syn. Now he's reluctantly been shipped to GAMMA for a superfight to take on the #2 FW of the world. His next opponent is Polish superstar, Lukasz Walek, a 29 year old fighter with a 27-5 record. Walken has been on top of the Featherweight scene for a long time and might be one of Abe's toughest opponents up to date; he's a lethal and versatile striker with stopping power. Unfortunately for fans this fight is taking place in GAMMA, so we know shady reffing and judging will undoubtedly be a factor. Upon accepting the fight offer Abraham sent a message to Mentor Corleone:

"No. I'm only here to fight. I won't promote your penis cream or fraudulent big dick pills. I'm an honest jew."
