Event Preview:

, ,
Author:Mike Thomas

TTFC Legends Tour New York Sponsered By Mango Nutrition of Rio. Tonight we have a Legendary Card for you. We have a two Legends of the fight game, a Super-fight and a 205lb Title Match. We get things started in the 185lb division.

Ano "Kuahana" Aukanaii Vs John Lakanik

Ano is making his 2nd chance at a debut in TTFC and his second chance at a fight against Lakanik. His first attempt he ran into problems with his Visa and his fight had to be cancelled. He comes to TTFC after a short stint in CFC where he didnt do well going 0-3. Ano has alot of potentional but the problem is he hasnt lived up to it. His Opp tonight is John Lakanik who has fought just twice in TTFC. John is a fighter that has looked good and looked bad. When he is focused like he was in his last fight he is dangerous which he showed in his first round destruction of Ricky Smith.
Prediction: I think this fight could go either way but gun to my head I will go with Ano by TKO (cuts)in the 3rd round

Chris Santi vs Lucas Bede

This is Chris's second stint in TTFC and he hasnt done well. He has just 1 win in his last 7 fights many believe the game has passed him by but he isnt retiring just yet. Chris still has alot of talent but the question remains does he still have the heart to compete? He is a BJJ Black belt and has a clear advantage on the ground so it is likely he will try to get this to the ground. If he does he could get his second victory in 8 fights. His Opp is Lucas Bede a basic sprawl and brawler. Lucus himself has only 1 win in his last 5 fights. Many people believe Lucus has not been focused since his days in Gamma and they say he is basically only fighting to get paid. He has a chance to anwser these questions Saturday night. For lucus to win he will need to keep this fight on its feet.
Prediction: Both fighters have questions about how long they want to keep fighting. With that said I have heard that Lucus's training camp hasnt been very good. I think Chris gets the fight to the ground and wins by Submission in the 2nd round.

Agamemnon Coon vs Rainbow Trout

At a quick glance Coon vs Trout looks like a bit of a mismatch but if you look deeper you will see that Trout has a very good hance at winning this fight as Coon has been koed 10 times in his career. Coon is a dangerous fighter where ever it goes. He has a black belt in BJJ to go along with his Elite wrestling and Sensational Boxing his on week point is his MT which just happens to be Trouts best aspect. Trout has never been KOed so he needs to keep this fight standing where he can get a chance to test Coons Chin. Coon will want to get this fight to the ground fast.
Prediction: I think Trout catches Coon coming in and wins by KO in the 1st round.

Clay Thomas vs Rex Ronny Samuelsen

Clay is a Exceptional Boxer with a Brown Belt in BJJ. Rex in a Exceptional Boxer that also has a Brown Belt in BJJ. These two fighters are almost Identical in terms of skill the difference is Age and experience which at 34 Rex has the edge. This is going to be a interesting fight that I think will come down to who wants it more.
Prediction: This is a fight between two fighters heading in different directions in Thomas you have a young fighter just coming into his prime in Rex you have a fighter in the later stage of his Career. I think the Young Gun will win this fight by TKO(Cuts) in the 3rd round after some scarey moments.

Chico Escuela vs Flako Gracie

Both of these two Heavy Weights have Exceptional Boxing with Black Belts in BJJ. Chico has fought more fights in TTFC than any other fighter in the world. He is a TTFC Hall of Famer and he is in the later stages of his Career. He has won the 265lb Belt 3 different times. Flako has not had the success he thought he would when signing with TTFC. He has won just two fights out of six fights in TTFC. The good news is he just won his last fight so he is looking to get on a roll.
Prediction: This is a tough fight to call both fighters have the skill to beat the other. I have to go with my gut here and say I think Chico will win this fight by Dec.

Paul Bruens vs Harry Callahan

This is the first of the two legends Tour fights. Paul Bruens comes to TTFC after getting his first win on the Tour can he make it two in a row? His Opp will be TTFC's own Harry Callahan. Paul has a great ground game as he has senstaional wrestling and holds a Brown Belt in BJJ. Harry also has a Brown Belt in BJJ too but he has never used his BJJ in the Cage.
Prediction: This is a tough fight to call in Paul you have a very experienced fighter who has fought all around the world. In Harry you have the total opposite as he has only fought 4 times in his young career. This is a big experience gap but one I think Harry can overcome. I think Harry gets his biggest win of his Career by Dec.

Henry Chinaski vs Kid Torres

Next up is the final Legends Tour Fight. Kid Torres is one of the most Notiable Fighters in All of Tycoon Land. He has fought all over the world and is a Synchronicity Hall of Fame Member. He fights TTFC's own Hall of Famer Henry Chinaski who is also TTFC's 170lb Champion and is currently ranked 9 in the world at his weight class and 84 P4P. When it was announced the the Tour was coming to New York Chinaski said he wanted this fight and TTFC's Ownership did everything they could to make this fight happen.
Prediction: Kid is coming off a dominating win in his Montreal Leg of the tour. Henry is coming off a big Super-fight win. Only one can leave the cage with the win. The Kid is a master at finding ways to win a dec. he has 19 wins by dec. so if the fight goes the distance he has a great chance at taking the dec. But Henry is a master at knocking fighters out he has 14 KO wins out of his 19 wins. The Kid has been Koed before and I think it happens again. Henry Chinaski by KO in the 3rd.

Co-Main Event is a Super fight against
Frank Saurus vs Tom Mot

Franks Saurus is the TTFC 155lb Champion his Opp. is Tom Mot Geezer Palace's 155lb Champion. Frank has Exceptional boxing, Wonderful Muay Thai, Sensational wrestling and holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Tom has Exceptional boxing, Wonderful Muay Thai, Exceptional wrestling and holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Both fighters are great champions.
Prediction: Frank has had two super-fights since coming to TTFC and he is 0-2 in those fights. But he is undefeated in every other fight in TTFC. I dont know if its the pressure of a super-fight or not but he just hasnt been the same fighter in those fights. Tom has only lost one fight in his Career. This is a tough fight to call. I think it could go either way. If the Frank that dominates shows up on saturday night I think he can win this one but if the Frank that has fought in the last to super-fights shows up he will lose. I think this will be a very close back and forth fight but at the end I think Frank will get a hometown Dec.

The Main Event of the evening is a 205lb Title showdown.
Sonny Corleone vs Jose Nabijos
First off we have the Challanger Jose Nabijos who has Sensational Boxing, Elite MT, Exceptional Wrestling, and Purple Belt in BJJ. Jose is a dangerous man he has KOed 17 fighters and has never been KOed he loves to stand and Bang. Sonny has Elite boxing, Elite  Muay Thai, Sensational wrestling and holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Sonny has only lost one fight in his career and only went the distance once in his career so to say he can finish a fight is a understatement. He has defended his title 3 times and has looked better in each defense.
Predition: Its no secret that Jose want to keep this fight standing and try to KO the Champ. This has been his gameplan forever and its worked most of the time. The fighters that have had success against him are fighters that have been able to take him down and keep him from using his deadly hands. This should be the champs gameplan but the champ hasnt shown the ability to take anyone down instead he loves to fight in the clinch and or use range to pepper his Opps. There is a saying styles make fights and on paper the Champ has all the tools to win this fight if he fights smart but fights are not won on paper and this is a bad matchup for the Champ. With that being said I think Jose shocks everyone and wins this fight by a close Dec and wins the Title.
