Sucker Punch Pro Series 91 - Event Preview

Event Preview: Sucker Punch Pro Series 91
Sucker Punch Pro Series
2021-10-20, Sydney, Sydney Superdome
Author:Hare Rumpler

Welcome back again all you crazy Sucker Punch fans!!!  Hare Rumpler here along with my colleague and analyst, Donkey “Dan”, as we get ready to jump into one of the more exciting nights Sucker Punch has ever seen!  Sure, we’ve been in the Sydney Superdome already this past month and yes, we’ve also done a three hour PPV just as we’ll do again tonight, but tonight will also see one of the highest hyped combinations of fights we’ve had on tap for quite a while!  Add all of that together and I’m stoked for some big time action, big time results and boy, Donkey, I can just feel the electricity in the air here in Sydney!

Now, do I believe that that all is going to necessarily result in our highest rated event to date?  No, not absolutely.  Why?  Well, this is all part of a building process.  We’ve been pumping resources into the last few events leading up to this in order to establish and build the org rating up to a new “base level”.  Each and every event, especially PPV’s, builds on the ones prior to it.  So by dumping tons of resources into the ones before this it allows us to now back down a little bit on the investment, while hopefully still maintaining a reasonably higher rating level than we had prior to beginning this effort.  Hopefully that’s what we see tonight…something in the 350+ rating range with about half the losses (as we took easily a multi-seven figure loss on the last one, but damn, wasn’t it worth it crew?!?)

So yes, Donkey, tonight we have 30,000 fans, or close to it, packing into the Sydney Superdome, we have three hours of action packed, high quality production, PPV available for those at home or those who want to go back and watch again and we’ve got some amazing fights to support it all!  Now…about those fights…

Two title fights Donkey!  But get this…we even have a third fight…a fight that from a total hype and popularity perspective sneaks into the Main Events as the Co-Main for the evening!  That’s wicked awesome, so you can bet I’m looking forward to that Featherweight battle between Greg Connor and Yellow Belt Casey!

Outside that, the rest of the card is loaded also!  Hell, even sneaking down from the remainder of the Main Card into the Undercard you have fights such as the Middleweight matchup between Hall and Nimoy, the Featherweight showdown of Drake and Dankula to open the Main Card and the Light Heavyweight standup between Kuznetsov and young up and comer Barnes that closes out the Undercard!  Not to mention my own Valentine going at it with Rabbit in a Welterweight bout right before that.

We’re not going to forget about Bard/Daly which opens things up for the evening followed by Fuller/Hamada and Fett/Powell!  Seriously, if those are your “Opening Fights”, you know this thing is going to absolutely blow the doors off the Sydney Superdome and the entire city of Sydney is going to KNOW that Sucker Punch Pro Series is rockin’ the town!

So with all that said, let’s get a quick word in about our merchandise partner and sponsor here before we hurry over and take a peek at each fight coming up tonight in more detail!

Our fantastic and respected sponsor is Shadow Warrior Nutrition!   Many of you already know them as the providers of Shadow Warrior Tea 160Q., THE energy loss reduction supplements!  For those of you who aren’t in the know on that, you should be, because this is the way you keep your fighter training more often and not taking sessions off to try to keep his energy above 90%!  If you aren’t using this supplement, hurry over and check them out today, you will not be disappointed!

Now, let's get to it!  The full review is now up here:
