 HERO is back on Finnish soil after a successful overseas event in Japan. The action comes to you from Hard Knocks Arena in Helsinki. A featherweight battle for the supremacy takes place as Georgi Todorov puts the strap on the line against Tyson Pearson.

Prelims
Heavyweight Division: Pyry Perkele vs Roy Nelson
This fight was brief, but exciting. Perkele came out of the gates like a hurricane. Punches and kicks were flying and landing with power and precision. Within a few seconds, Nelson's nose was busted up. A few moments later, a superman punch landed flush and put Nelson to sleep. Result: Perkele by 1st round KO (Superman Punch)
Heavyweight Division: Gorilla Monsoon vs Markus Heinola
This was another hard hitting heavyweight battle. Heinola tried to keep up, but Monsoon's frenetic pace was too much. Midway through the first, a big left hand knocked Heinola out.. Result: Monsoon by 1st round KO (Punch)
Bantamweight Division: Floyd Stark vs Conor Heatrt
Heatrt got a takedown early and worked for submissions from both the top and bottom. However, Stark eventually got the fight back to the feet by slowing down the action. Once they were standing, he rocked Heatrt with a big right, then finished it off with another with only three seconds left in the round. Result: Stark by 1st round KO (Punch)
Featherweight Division: Aku Juhtanen vs Antero Wursty
Wursty showed great striking defense in this one. Jutanen unloaded with a lot of punches, but not many of them were able to land. Wursty countered with a lot of leg kicks to sap the ability to move from Juhtanen, then used a couple of big right hands to knock Juhtanen silly. Result: Wursty by 1st round KO (Punches)
Main Card
Middleweight Division: Joa Pael vs Albert Fish
It didn't take Fish long to establish his dominance in this one. Seventeen seconds is all it took to land four hard punches to the head. Pael was quickly sent face first to the mat and his night was done.. Result: Fish by 1st round KO (Punch)
Featherweight Division: Jason Rudd vs Tommi Talentti
Talentti clearly wanted this fight on the mat, but could only connect with one of nine takedown attempts. The majority of the two rounds were spent in the clinch, where Rudd was able to wear down his opponent with punches and finish him with a huge knee to the head. Result: Rudd by 2nd round TKO (Strikes)
Welterweight Division: Lucas Handfast vs Dae Jung Pak
What a slugfest this fight was. These two warriors let it all hang out for a full fifteen minutes. Therw was a tremendous volume of punches thrown. In the end, Pak managed to connect more and did more damage, but both of these men won the respect of the fans. Result: Pak by unanimous decision
Co-Main Event
Bantamweight Division: John Dodson vs BJ Ferguson
These two men made their HERO debuts by stepping up on short notice. Dodson worked hard for takedowns, but it was Ferguson who won the ground battle. In the second round, he managed to get Dodson's back and lock in a rear naked choke. Result: Ferguson by 2nd round submission (Rear Naked Choke)
Main Event
HERO Featherweight Championship: Georgi Todorov vs Tyson Pearson
The night was filled with exciting first round finishes, so why would the main event be any different? Todorov proved why he is the champ by rocking Pearson with a left hand and dropping him with a right. A few quick ground shots forced the ref to call it off after only thirty five seconds. Result: Todorov by 1st round TKO (Strikes)

On August 29th at HERO 28, Maarten Van Der Moot defends against Wai Man Li. Van Der Moot is undefeated and Li has won five in a row. Something has to give. Then, on September 2nd, Rauta Naama and Loki Lazerous clash for the welterweight crown.
