Thomas Mahi Ai is the new light heavyweight champion!
Thomas Mahi Ai seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Dan Ramkins was interviewed post fight and said 'Tonight was not my night, but I ain't done yet. See you at the TOP! DRam out.'.

This morning Thomas was still not quite ready to believe he was a Champion, after years of struggle and gruelling hours of work in the gym he has blazed a short but eventful trail of destruction on his path to the CFC strap.

That he had attained a long held dream of becoming a champion in a sport that had, at times, made him want to go find a regular job is yet to fully sink in, and already he knows this just put a target on his back as now he would be who all the hungry savages in CFC's Light Heavyweight Division would be aiming for.

A little time away from his base in London, England to visit his family & friends back in beautiful Ainaloa.

That week off training to recover, relax & enjoy his victory will pass quickly and he will be heading back to the gym to prepare for his next battle.
