El Cazador has title ambitions

Fighter profile of Rut Tyson by Jason "JBOMB" Smith

Anthony "El Cazador" Ochoa is a MMA fighter training out of Primal Concrete Gym. From Mexico City, he is a student of the game and he has knockout power. He fights with the support of the Mexican fans behind him. He has kickboxing experience and his punches are just as lethal as his sniping kicks.

MMA fighting requires a lot of dedication and training, so it's impressive that Anthony "El Cazador" Ochoa remains a student of the game, pushing himself to new limits even at the age of 30. Having knockout power is also a great asset in the sport, as it can give an athlete an advantage in the cage and ring.

Primal Concrete Gym is a great place to train for MMA, as it's important to have a supportive and challenging environment to push oneself to become better. He trains with other legends of the sport and coaches, the Helix brothers, Christian Slaughter, Rolen Spliffs, there are many top fighters he competes with on a day to day basis.   Signed to Combate, he's been making noise on his way to a title shot. With 18 knockouts under his belt inside the MMA cage, he thinks he's done enough to earn a title shot against the Combate Light Heavyweight champion. Will Combate brass agree howoever? With a MMA record of 20-10, riding a 5 fight win streak with 4 knockouts, it'll be hard for management to continue denying him a title shot at this pace.
