SPFT 70: Stoppers vs. Coleman QUICK PREVIEW

Okay fellow humans, a quick preview coming for this event right about.... NOW!

Oliver “Python” Fran 10-7(SPFT Debut) vs Bang McGee 21-12(5-2 in SPFT) @205

Fran: Wins if he can stave off the striking attack of McGee long enough to land a takedown. Then he'll need to finish it on the ground as soon as possible.

McGee: Wins if he can keep the fight standing. He should be able to land some good strikes and earn his 19th stoppage.

El Guapo 11-6(6-5) vs Bobo “Bulldog” Breznekov 8-2(SPFT Debut) @155

Guapo: Wins if he can utilize his clear striking advantage and not get taken down.

Breznekov: Wins if he can utilize his clear ground advantage and neutralize Guapo's striking with solid wrestling.

“Showtime” Kyle Bradley 14-5(1-0) vs Sasha Lagoo 13-11(6-4) @155

Bradley: Wins if he doesn't underestimate his opponent's stand up. Lagoo's advantage is BJJ, but Bradley's stand up isn't that much greater than Lagoo's.

Lagoo: Wins if he can be efficient with his striking and eventually take it to the ground. He can win standing, but his best bet is on the ground.

Frank “The Bulldozer” Martin 15-8(1-1) vs Bones Jones 23-9(2-4) @205

Martin: Wins if he can land the big shot before he himself is caught with one.

Jones: See Martin, Frank. This is a slugfest in the making.

“The Reaper” Grimly Fiendish 13-5(6-3) vs Darrius Styles 5-0(SPFT Debut) @135

Fiendish: Wins as long as he doesn't get caught with some wild strike/submission that puts him out.

Styles: Wins when a frozen hell-pig flies into the cage to knock out Fiendish. I'm saying his chances are low here people. MAYBE he can sneak a submission. Maybe.

Gab “Caveman” Jay-ar 10-3(5-3) vs “Butterball” Tim Martin 8-1(SPFT Debut) @265+

Jay-ar: Wins if he can take this fight to the ground and get that 11th submission in his professional career.

Martin: Wins if he can avoid the takedowns of Jay-ar and unleash a brutal striking attack.

Virgil Cid 10-2(4-1) vs Abdual “SMG” Jemall 19-11(0-1) @155

Cid: Wins if he fights smart. He has slight advantages standing, but he doesn't want to get caught with a takedown.

Jemall: Wins if he can use his well rounded game to sneak through the defenses of Cid. If he can get it to the ground he'll be in great shape.

Master Splinter 16-6(2-0) vs Fancy “Apricot” Nancy 21-7(5-2) @265

Splinter: Wins if his elite muay thai is enough to overcome shortcomings in his other skillsets.

Nancy: Wins if he can use his advantages in boxing, wrestling and BJJ to fend off the muay thai of Splinter.

~HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT~

“The Power” Willy Stoppers 16-8(8-2) vs Black “Black Coleman” Coleman 12-2-1(SPFT Debut) @265

Stoppers: Wins if he can land yet another big shot to earn his 17th win and 17th KO.

Coleman: Wins if he can somehow manage to avoid the superior striking of Stoppers and be effective in taking the fight to the ground and keeping it there.

That's all I have for you for now.
