Lopez vs Bayou
This fight is proof that on the island, the floor is always better. The ground and pound fighter win this one, because after he finally got his takedown there was no going back. Bayou was so close to surviving the round but unfortunately Lopez landed some finishing strikes to end it.
FOTN
Santorino vs Hamland
This fight was a classic with the fight having major events taking place n the clinch, standup and ground. As the fight started, Hamland took the fight into the clinch, it kept being broken but he would go right back to it. While in the clinch, Hamland was stuffed on takedown attempt after attempt. All while Santorino was just beating him up. Hamland did manage to get a takedown towards the end of the round, where he displayed his famous ground and pound. It looked like this fight might be over, as Santorino was rocked, and then Ding Ding Ding! The bell rang, saving Santorino momentarily. In the next round the strategy was the same for Hamland. His takedowns were repeatedly stuffed and as Santorino broke the clinch, Hamland was never able to get back in it…
Hamland wants to clinch
and Santorino counters with a huge left! Hamland is in big trouble! He's backing up but Santorino isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Hamland from any more damage. A dominating finish by Santorino!
KOTN
Jumbo Mills
Although Mills is not in the playoffs, he did put on a show today. Mills was extremely aggressive, landing punch after punch, rocking Brogan, and 35 seconds after the start of the fight, Mills landed a beautiful hook that knocked Brogan out.
SOTN
Jamar Kinkead
Kinkead is an artist of jiu jitsu, and after he scored a takedown, his first sub attempt was an arm triangle that got past Arlin’s defenses and tapped him out.

FOTN
This may have been the greatest comeback in MILF history, as this fight between two brown belts got WILD. As you’d expect, this fight was on the ground for pretty much the whole time, with Adonis Ford winning the first two rounds because of his grappling skills. It looked like the same thing would happen in the third, with Ford poised for a decision victory, but with 10 seconds left in the fight, Schlager managed to get an arm, and with 4 seconds left in the fight, Ford tapped to the Kimura! Wild finish and what a win for Schlager.
KOTN
Malcolm Young
Another big finish just before the end of a round here, as Young may have won the first round, but I guess we’ll never know who really would have won it, because right at the end, Young rocked Morrow with a hook. Then as Morrow got back up, an uppercut from Young knocked out Morrow before he even hit the floor.
SOTN
Jaylen Stout
As opposed to the other fights, this one was quick, only 22 seconds. Stout immediately got the takedown and began sub hunting. This was a crazy submission, as Nielsen went for a huge punch. He missed and Stout caught him in a triangle. Then with a move that left the crowd speechless, he transitioned into an arm at that forced Nielsen to tap. Even the commentator thought that that was an easy sub of the night!

FOTN
Dakat vs Derek
Just as predicted, this fight was great, but there can only be one winner. I thought that Derek would land a nasty head kick, but he was never able to land a big one, so a great job by Dakat. In the third round, Dakat took the fight to the ground, obviously a bit worried by Derek’s power. This strategy won him the fight, as once he got there he was able to secure a triangle on his first attempt and Derek ended up tapping.
KOTN
Jayden Marsh did exactly as I predicted, securing a quick KO win. A counter punch landed perfectly and Marsh jump on him and finished it, a brutal KO that shows Marsh’s domination of his division. Expect him to be a force to be reckoned with in the playoffs.
SOTN
Freddie Simmons
Neither Simmons nor his opponent are particularly impressive fighters, but this was a solid submission nonetheless. He got to the side and managed to grab one of Miami’s arms, and quickly got the two from the armbar.
This was the last event of league play, so let's get ready for playoffs!
