   HWP294: Hytten vs Ares! PREVIEW

What's good sugar tits'? K-Rad back once more to give you the low down of the upcoming HWP event, Hytten vs. Ares, and

also some pretty crappy Kickass Tips! I went about 50/50 last week so I guess you broke even at least but let's see if

this can be improved upon this week. There's heaps of big names on the card, some of these boys seem to be fighting every

week so I wonder how their energy levels will affect the outcomes. We'll be fighting out of MMA Grand in Vegas as always

and with 17000+ fans in attendance this is the greatest show in the country.

"Dunkin" Tom Duncan vs. "Warpath" James Proudstar

Off the back of a loss against Thai, due to a crunching head kick, "Warpath" Proudstar is looking to redeem himself with

the fans. It won't be an easy task as his opponent is "Dunkin" Duncan, but on paper at least "Warpath" holds the edge in

terms of skills and size, standing a solid 18cm taller than his opponent. New Zealand native Duncan has been in decent

form of late and will be figuring he has a good chance at taking this as he has heavy hands and a decent jaw. I still

think he is going to be fighting an uphill battle and I expect Proudstar to get back to high spirits after he wins this

fight via knock out.

"Afrozilla" Nick Gaston vs. Hugh "Quick" Recksun

The absolutely poorly named "Afrozilla" Gaston brings his super short haircut to the party against "Quick" Recksun, a

fighter who has finally managed to turn around a 3 fight losing streak in his last appearance. Gaston himself is in

exactly the same boat but with a much stronger striking game than his opponent he'll have to be feeling confident going

into this bout. Recksun, as his morale shows, obviously isn't feeling particular keen going into this fight though he

should take some solace from the fact that Gaston has more losses than wins and all but one have been by knockouts which

have come early in the fight. With this in mind, and looking at the fact that "Quick's" early career saw him winning

plenty of fights within 20 seconds, I am going to tip the underdog Recksun to pull off a KO win upset.

"Dreamboy" Bob Baramari vs. Dutch Kush

Co-Main Event!

The "Dreamboy" is back just a week after losing to Ankle 30 seconds into round 1. Hoping he will do better this time and

wanting to end his back to back losing form he is fighting an opponent he should be able to destroy quite easily. Kush is

a great boxer but his wrestling isn't as strong as Baramari's, his kickboxing is crap and his jitsu is rubbish. THis

should be a walk in the part for Baramari, assuming his chin hasn't gone, especially as he has 25cm extra height and 20lbs

extra weight. Pencil me in for an early Baramari win, I'd say via submission but that isn't how he rolls so make it a KO.

"The Biohazard" Kent Hytten vs. Solomon "Beast Mode" Ares

Main Event!

There's some big talent in the cage right here as "The Biohazard" Hytten throws down with "Beast Mode" Ares. These two

haven't met before but they have both been fighting the same opponents and mostly coming out on top. Ares is an Olympic

standard wrestler who lives to KO but Hytten is up to the task thanks to some highly formidable standup striking and 20cm

more height. Ares had a strong run of form put to an end in his last appearance and he'll be looking to get back to

winning ways but I think Hytten will be too strong for him, out striking him and generally giving him trouble at every turn

which is why I am tipping Hytten to win via knock out.

That's it for the preview, sorry for the brevity but it is 8:20pm and I am still in the bloody office! Jerk factory.

Let's get into K-Rad's Kickass Tips! As always, remember that the number after the predicted winner denotes my confidence.

Also note that my confidence is absolutely unwarranted.

Mohammadpourkarkarragh (fuck you for making that last name) vs. Henderson: Mohammadpourkarkarragh (2)
