Welcome ladies and gentleman to the Hard Knocks Arena here in New York City. Tonight TTFC is going to bring you 10 exciting fights so sit back and relax with a ice cold brew and enjoy the fights.

We start tonights fights in the 265lb division

Rex Ronny Samuelsen vs Miles Long 265lb class

This fight is between two fighters that are looking to get their first TTFC Victory. Rex is coming into this fight on the heels of 2 loses and he is hungery to get his first win in TTFC. He is a very dangerous fighter on the ground with a black belt in BJJ. Miles is coming off 7 straight losses and looking to turn it around tonight. He is a smaller heavywieght fighter and is dangerous on his feet with his Sensational Boxing.

Prediction: This fight is going to come down to a couple of things can Rex get the fight to the ground and work his BJJ? Can Rex use his size to his advantage? Can Miles use his quickness to stick and move against the bigger man? For Rex he has to get this fight to the ground before he gets clipped and bleeds out as his last two losses have came by cuts. For Miles he needs to keep this fight on the feet as his last two losses have came by Subs. I think this is a very tough fight to call as both fighters can win if they can impose their will. I think this will be a back and forth fight but in the end I see Miles getting the TKO (cuts) victory in the 2nd round.

Lay Pray vs Tom Redding 265+

This fight is a classic grappler vs striker match up. Lay Pray is a Sensational wrestler with a purple belt in BJJ. He loves to take fighters down and grind them out. He holds a 1-2 record in TTFC but he is coming off a split decision win over Lyle Kikyerass. Tom Redding is a Sensational Boxer with exceptional wrestling. He loves to sprawl and brawl. He holds a 3-4 record in TTFC and is coming off a TKO loss to Arnie McDougal. Both of these fighters are looking to get a win.

Prediction: For Pray he is going to want to get this fight to the ground as soon as possible to avoid his chin from getting tested. If he can get this fight to the ground he will have the advantage and be able to use his dangerous GnP. For Redding he is going to want to stay outside and control distance while using his power and striking advantage to get the win. I think this fight is going to come down to who makes the least amount of mistakes. I think this fight will go back and forth but in the end I think Tom Reddings power will be the difference and he will end up with the TKO victory in the 3rd round.

Brent Celek vs Lee Struthers  155lb class

This is a fight between two really talented fighters. Brent Celek seems to like the ground more than Lee Struthers. Its going to be interesting to see if he chooses to try to take this fight to the ground because on paper Lee has the better BJJ. If he chooses to keep the fight standing he has a good advantage in Boxing and MT so he could try to keep the fight standing. Lee Struthers has the better BJJ but he doesnt seem to use it very often so its going to be interesting to see if he tries to take the fight to the ground. He has very good stand up skills and he is a in your face type of fighter that looks to out work his Opp to get the win.

Prediction: I think Brent has the advantage on the feet so he should try to keep the fight there but he must not be to defensive or he will find himself on the lossing end of a decision. If he decides to take the fight to the ground he is going to need to be careful not to get to Aggressive and leave a limb out there for Lee to get ahold of even if Lee hasnt won a fight by sub yet. You dont want to be the first person to give him that type of win. I think Lee is going to want to stay in Celeks face and try to out work him or get him to make a mistake and get a takedown and try to get a Sub victory. I think this fight could go either way but I think in the end this fight will come down to who is more Aggressive and I am going to pick a upset with Lee Struthers by Split Decision win.

Arnie McDougle vs Lyle Kikyerass  265+ Class
 
This is a rematch between 2 fighters going in different directions. Arnie is on a 3 fight win streak and looks to have alot of momentum but his last loss is to the man he will be facing on Saturday Night. There is no doubt that Arnie will be looking for revenge and keep his streak going. Lyle is on a 3 fight lossing streak but he will have some comfort in knowing his last win is against the man he will be facing Saturday Night. He is coming into this fight to prove the first fight wasnt a fluke and to get back to winning ways.

Prediction: For Arnie he is going to want to use his MT Advantage and keep this fight at range and pick Lyle apart. He is going to have to becareful not to get to Aggressive and leave himself open for one of Lyle's fight changing punches. For Lyle he is going to want to be patient and try to pick his shots and get the highlight Ko again. I think this fight i going to be alot different than the first fight. I think Arnie will come out with a better game plan and he will be able to pull off the Decision win.

Arthur Antunes Coimbra vs Edmond Dantes 265+ Class

Arthur is a sensational Boxer with a Brown Belt in BJJ. He has very good Power in both hands and he holds 11 tko victories. Edmonds is a Exceptional MT fighter also with a brown belt in BJJ. He also has good power holding 7 tko victories. Neither fighter has used their BJJ skills to win fights. Arthur seems to be more aggressive in the stand up and he is very accurate with his strikes. Edmonds is a bit more calculated with his stand up prefering to pick his spots then unleash his powerful punches. Both fighters will need to be careful when engaging each other as both have suspect chins.

Predictions: I think both of these fighters are going to want to come out and Bang but they will have different ways about doing it. For Arthur I think he will want to get in Edmonds face and out work him. For Edmond I think he will want to control the range with his kicks and when Arthur gets in close he will want to clinch him up and use his advantage in MT. I think this fight is going to come down to who can land first and I think it will be Arthur who lands first and he will end up getting his first TTFC victory by way of 1st round TKO.

Optimus Prime vs King Bryan 265lb class

These two fighters are two of the most dangerous ground fighters in the 265lb class but for different reasons. For Optimus he has some of the most dangerous GnP in the class. For King he is one of the best submission artist in TTFC with 16 wins coming by Submission. The question is who will be able to control the ground game or will both fighters decide that standing is the best way they can win this fight?

Predictions: Optimus is coming off a decision loss and will be in a very bad mood. He is going to want to get back to his winning ways. I think he will be the one who dictates were this fight will take place as he has great takedown defense and great takedowns. King is coming off a win and is going to want to continue to climb up the heavyweight ladder. The problem he is going to have to face is how does he get this fight to the ground where he has a chance? He needs to hope Optimus forgets how to defend a takedown or hope that Optimus decides to take him down if he wants to win this one. I just think this is a bad matchup for him unless he gets the fight to the ground. I think Optimus will get the TKO victory and get back to his winning ways. TKO in the second.

 
Chico Escuela vs Randall Johnson 265lb class
 
This fight is between 2 HoF fighters with them combine 76 fights between them both they have seen it all. TTFC HOFer Chico Escuela has fought the whos who in TTFC he is a three time 265lb champ. He has fought his whole career in TTFC. He is a very well rounded fighter being able to hold his own where ever the fight goes. He has never been TKOed. TIA HoFer Randall is what I call a finisher he has double digit wins by TKO and Submissions so it goes without saying he can go where ever the fight goes and know that he can finish it at anytime. He is a 7 time Champ between 2 different weight classes.
 
Prediction: This is a very interesting fight between two fighters that like to do much of the same things both fighters are equally aggressive on there feet. Chico has shown the better defense on his feet and I think that could be the key to this fight. Randall has shown the ablity to KO fighters and I think that will be his key to this fight. If he can do what 29 others before him couldnt and KO Chico that could vault him into the title picture. I think this fight has all the makings of Fight Of The Night if both fighters show up and do what they do. I think this fight will be fought everywhere in the cage but in the end I think Chico will end up getting his hand raised by Decision.
 
Vladimir Arlovski vs Ghengis Congo 265lb Class
 
This fight is between two fighters that like to stand and bang. Vladimir is coming off a big win over Randall Johnson and is looking to make it 2 straight when he steps into the cage saturday night. He has some of the biggest punching power in the division winning 19 fights by KO. Ghengis is making his TTFC debut and it isnt going to be a easy debut but then again now fight in TTFC is easy. He is coming off 4 straight decision losses and peoeple are questioning on weather he still has the desire to compete well we should find out Saturday night. When he is motivated he is a dangerous man ith great power evident by his 14TKO victories.
 
Prediction: As stated above Vladimir has great KO power the problem is his chin is not very good and he has lost 10 times by TKO if he doesnt want to make it 11 he better come in with a good game plan and keep that chin tucked in. The say can be said about Congo even though his chin has shown to be better Vladimir can KO anyone if he lands cleanly. I think this fight could be decided by who connects first. With that being said I think Vladimir is going to catch Congo and get the TKO victory.
 
Thiago De Santos vs Charles Bishop 265+ Class Co-Main event
 
This is a very Interesting fight between two talented fighters both looking to get closer to a shot at the title. For Thiago he is climbing the TTFC ladder for the second time having coming up short in his first TTFC title fight. He has a 4-1 record in TTFC. He is probly one of the best ground fighters in the division winning 3 out of 4 by submission. Charles is looking to use this fight to show he belongs with the top 265+ fighters in the Division. He is 1-0 in TTFC winning by 1st round TKO. Charles is 5-1 in his last 6 fights so he is on a bit of a roll right now. Charles has a very good standup game with his exceptional Boxing and wonderful MT.
 
Prediction: I think this fight could go either way. For Thiago I think he will be wanting to get this fight to the ground where he can use his BJJ to secure a victory. The problem is he lands 43% of his takedowns and Charles's Opp. have only landed 16% of there takedown attempts against him. For Charles I think he will want to keep this fight on the feet and work his standup game for the win. That being said I think Charles is going to get the win here after a back and forth fight Charles will get the decision win.
 
Tyson Gauge vsSonny Corleone 265lb class Main Event
 
This is the main event of the evening and it is a super-fight between the 205lb Champ and 265lb Champ. This is also a rematch between these two fighters who fought each other at 205lb where Sonny won by 3rd round TKO. The question is will the jump in weight class make a difference in the outcome? Tyson Gauge is the TTFC 265lb champ and since moving up in weight has finished every opp. he has faced many people believe he looks more dominate than when he fought at 205lb class where he was the champ. Sonny has dominated the 205lb division and decided he would like to move up to 265 for a super-fight and fight a guy who he believes is getting more attention than him even though he has beatin him once before. Sonny seems to feel a bit underrated and whats to show the world he is the best fighter in TTFC at any weight class.
 
Prediction: In the first fight Sonny really dominated the action and really surprised Tyson on his way to getting the TKO win. Tyson really never looked comfortable in that fight and was beatin soundly. I think this fight will be different the question is how different? For Tyson I think what he has going for him is he has fought at this weight class and had success at it. He is the 265lb champ and not having to worry about cutting weight is a big advantage for him so he can consentraite on the fight instead of the weight cut. For Sonny this is his first fight at this weight but he isnt going to be facing a big 265er so the weight shouldnt make that much of a difference. I really think this fight is Sonnys to win or lose as he is just a bad matchup for Tyson. I do think this fight will be different in I think Sonny will get the job done faster by winning by 2nd round TKO.
