 COUNTDOWN TO IMMA 87
If I can recommend anything there are two things I can suggest, 1) is you have to catch tomorrows IMMA 87 event and 2) remember to use a lot of toilet paper and to wash your hands after using the bathroom. I am certain there is a reader out there that just wasn’t paying enough attention to the 1-ply of TP as one of your fingers broke through ply you used to wipe and in a rush forget to wash your hands to get to the delicious one pound bacon cheeseburger you ordered for lunch. You ate the whole thing with the fries you ordered without using any utensils because you’re a manly man. Now by reading this you have realized just what have I done? Did I just eat 1 and a half pounds of food with the hands I forgot to wash? Yes you just did and yes it was 1 and a half pounds of food plus yesterdays leftover. Nasty you!
Anyways getting to the event, IMMA 87 is presented not to disappoint as it will be electrifying. You have the 155 Ass Beater Semi-Finals and the 185 middleweight title fight. So you have stars like Michael Patton (#1 LW in the world) vs Boris Cekada (#7 LW in the world), Ed Gein (#5 LW in the world) vs Bruce Lee (#13 LW in the world) and Igor Glozman (#1 MW in the world) vs Ryo Narushima (#1 IMMA MW title contender) battling for their respective spots in this mmatycoon historic event. So lets get to it already.
185 Middleweight Championship
Igor Glozman vs Ryo Narushima
This is Igors second title defense as he up against KO powerhouse Narushima. Igors last fight ended with a devisating KO in the 2nd round against former top contender Kauno Kaalikorva who many thought would give Igor some trouble in the fight. Igor made it known to the world that his hands are truly made of stone finishing his last 4 of 5 fights in KO. Ryo has made his own impressions as he also won his last 4 of 5 fights where 2 have been KO’s and out classing other fighters in decision wins. Ryo has also fought his list of whos who and now in top contention as he is fighting the most dangerous mw in the world. “I don’t think there is a MW out there right now that can touch Igor. In fact if he gets his hands on you I guarantee you will be in trouble or your going to see stars for the rest of the night” – Megajug
The fight is set for five rounds as all IMMA title fights are but I don’t see it going past three. Ryo is probably going to go in there and try to knock off Igors head as Igor will probably do the same. If Ryo can get inside and trade he may have a shot of landing some damage and may even slow down Igor. Igor has more of a dominate background in boxing but its Igors strength and speed that makes him very dangerous. We saw that in his fight against Gomer and Kauno.
Prediction: Igor will be too much for Ryo – TKO via punches in 2nd round
155 Ass Beater Semi-Finals
Michael Patton vs Boris Cekada
This is the first time these two beast will meet in the league and if you have been following the league you know this one has fireworks written all over it. And I have one thing to say; Michael Patton is one dominate muthafucka yall! He is undefeated in the 155 league. Undefeated! He fought Rolando Garica, knocked him out. Fought Jay Colmen, knocked him out. Fought Karl Grossman twice, once in the first round of playoffs and once in the regular season and knocked him out twice. He dominated Viktor Kowalczyk and Jon Unbreakable both former champions in their respected orgs. Michael Patton is a wreaking force that maybe faced with his toughest matchup yet. Boris is also a champion in his org and just losing once in the league he also is a massive force to be dealt with.
Boris is fast and is one smart fighter. Boris has great ground grappling skills as he has a blackbelt from top noted experts in the game. Breaking down this fight you have one conclusion, one big freaking explosion. Michael is unpredictable and well rounded as well as Boris but what Boris will need to do is somehow take Michael down to the ground and keep him there. If the fight is kept at Michael’s pace the fight will end the way Michael likes which will be via KO. Boris will need to be patient and takedown Patton with great timing and focus on this BJJ to keep in this fight.
Prediction – Michael Patton will wear Boris down with shots to the leg and body and get his KO in the 3rd
Ed Gein vs Bruce Lee
Also a blockbuster of a fight you have Ed Gein a KO machine verses Bruce Lee a complete well rounded fighter. There are two things I am certain of, Ed Gein is a monster at KO’s and slaying the kitty. And not the one you keep as a pet, if you know what I mean. In his last 13 fights hes managed to KO 12 of them. That’s just unheard of! He has more KO’s than Paris has partners, well maybe not but 16 total KO victories is just amazing.
Bruce Lee is a master of what he does inside the cage as well. He can get inside and out, he is quick and unpredictable. Bruce has very good cardio and uses great kicks to wear his opponents down. This is their second time meeting as the last one ended poorly for Bruce. This time Bruce maybe more cautious as where he strikes from as Ed will be head hunting for sure. The key to this is not what happens inside the cage but outside, the question is how many women will Ed entertain before the fight? If it’s a long night for him the night before, he maybe in a long night with Bruce, but if he takes the wham bam thank you mam approach, it maybe Ed in the finals.
Prediction – Ed Gein gets some sleep and rest the night before and get to put Bruce to sleep via round 1
