Powers lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. hardon gets a takedown into half guard. hardon throwing shots but Powers is blocking nicely. Powers looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Powers tries to get to full guard but hardon has control of the leg. hardon missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. hardon not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. hardon lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. hardon is trying to control the action in half guard but Powers is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. hardon thows a huge punch but Powers dodges it nicely.

Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. hardon looking to sit in guard and control but Powers gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. hardon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Powers escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. hardon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Powers working for a triangle but hardon defends it easily.

He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. hardon trying to control but Powers is working from the bottom. hardon advances position into side control! hardon tries for a kimura but Powers is defending well. Powers is trying to control hardon's posture but hardon avoids it.

Powers is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but hardon pulls his head out easily. hardon scoring with strikes to the body and head. hardon is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Powers doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time hardon.

Powers knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. hardon passes to full mount! hardon looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Powers is desperately trying to improve his position but hardon has a good base and remains in mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Powers tries to hold on but hardon postures up. Powers is desperately trying to improve his position but hardon has a good base and remains in mount. Powers wants to control but hardon is having none of it. hardon with a couple of short strikes. Powers tries to get back to half guard but can't. hardon lands a big elbow. big hardon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! hardon raining down shots from the mount! hardon with shots to the head and body - Powers looks very uncomfortable down there. hardon with shots to the head and body - Powers looks very uncomfortable down there. Powers is bucking up trying to escape but hardon cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Hiro throws a front kick aimed at Tanaka's knee but Tanaka avoids it well. Tanaka closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hiro circles away. Hiro tries to close the distance and clinch but Tanaka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Tanaka shoots in for a takedown but Hiro shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hoshi Tanaka. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tanaka tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hiro swivels and escapes. Hiro circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Tanaka drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Hiro follows Tanaka to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sergei Dragonov! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dragonov is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Dragonov throws a head kick but Flay moves out of range.
Flay moves out of range of the body kick. Dragonov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Flay swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dragonov wants to clinch. Flay keeps the fight on the outside. Flay fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Flay lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Flay lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Sergei Dragonov has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Flay looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Flay has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Dragonov defend it? Flay steps over the head and cranks it - Dragonov is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Flay!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! O Leary swinging wilding here.
Pearson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but O Leary swivels and escapes. O Leary tries to close the distance and clinch but Pearson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Pearson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. O Leary has Pearson up against the ropes in a clinch.
Pearson tries to stall but O Leary uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Pearson misses with a body punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. O Leary works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
O Leary is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though. O Leary softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes. O Leary gets a trip takedown into half guard. O Leary is looking to take a break and control but Pearson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. O Leary is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Pearson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pearson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. O Leary not doing much here.
O Leary lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Pearson is looking to control O Leary's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Pearson avoid being mounted? O Leary sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pearson defending well though. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pearson can do anything to dispel that myth. Pearson is pressing down on O Leary's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. O Leary scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Pearson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pearson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. O Leary manages to get himself to full guard.
Pearson throws a big right hand that misses. Pearson is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. O Leary keeping moving, preventing Pearson from controlling successfully. O Leary is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Pearson trying to control the position from guard on top but O Leary is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. O Leary looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pearson is one step ahead there. O Leary looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Pearson puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pearson is pressing down on O Leary's thigh, looking to free his foot. O Leary is holding on for now.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. O Leary jabbing away but nothing is landing. Pearson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but O Leary manages to avoid it. Lester Pearson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. O Leary slips a jab from Pearson. O Leary clinches up against the ropes. Pearson misses with a body punch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. O Leary softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes. Pearson is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but O Leary is keeping busy. O Leary taking a breather. O Leary stops a takedown attempt from Pearson.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Pearson misses with the head strike.
O Leary is trying to drag Pearson to the mat but Pearson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there. O Leary tightens his grip and picks Pearson up, before dumping him to the ground. Pearson manages to land in guard. Pearson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. O Leary trying to control but Pearson is working from the bottom. Pearson pulls O Leary in close to prevent any damage. Pearson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Larry O Leary dominated that round. That's time! O Leary's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
O Leary fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pearson manages to avoid it. Pearson lands a jab. O Leary throws a sloppy body shot
and Pearson counters with a nice body shot. Pearson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Pearson throws a jab when O Leary was well out of range. O Leary misses the shot to the body. O Leary keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. O Leary moves into the clinch successfully.
O Leary is trying to drag Pearson to the mat but Pearson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there. Pearson can't find room to land a body shot as O Leary controls the action.

O Leary works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Pearson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for O Leary! O Leary tries to lock up and control but Pearson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Pearson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pearson in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Pearson lands a big shot there that rocks O Leary but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
This has been an exciting period of action! Pearson raining down shots from the mount! O Leary keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Pearson with a couple of short strikes. Pearson trying to control but he's not successful this time. O Leary tries to hold on but Pearson postures up. A nice elbow there by Pearson.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pearson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. O Leary looks a forlorn figure.
Pearson lands a nice shot to the head. O Leary is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Pearson landing punches. Pearson landing punches. Pearson lands a big elbow. O Leary wants to hold on but Pearson pushes him away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pearson is landing with some decent strikes but O Leary is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pearson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
O Leary is squirming around, avoiding Pearson's attempts to control the action. Pearson avoids the attempt from O Leary to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pearson scores with a couple of good head shots there.
A nice elbow there by Pearson. O Leary throwing hammer fists to the chest of Pearson. What's that going to do exactly? Pearson lands with some vicious ground and pound - can O Leary hang on? Pearson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. O Leary flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

O Leary is rocked! Pearson content just to control the position here. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Pearson cracks O Leary with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lester Pearson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
O Leary uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pearson.
Pearson dives in and grabs O Leary's left leg, looking for a takedown. O Leary pushes down on Pearson's head and hops out. Pearson listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Pearson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but O Leary moves away. O Leary is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Pearson looks to score with a jab to the body but O Leary is just out of range. O Leary fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Pearson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches O Leary on the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pearson throws a right hand that O Leary ducks under and follows up with a left that O Leary also avoids with ease. Pearson lunges at O Leary with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by O Leary's hand. Pearson with a nice cross. Pearson throws out a powerful jab. This has been an exciting period of action! Pearson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed O Leary momentarily.
Pearson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pearson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Check out the look on Pearson's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pearson lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear O Leary down.
Lester Pearson has got the better of the ground game so far. O Leary tries to improve position but can't. O Leary tries to strike from the bottom but misses. O Leary is trying to improve his position. Pearson is looking to take a break and control but O Leary is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Pearson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control O Leary kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. O Leary takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. O Leary is looking to regain half guard here but Pearson keeps moving and retains side control. Pearson working the ground and pound. O Leary tries to get back to half guard but can't. O Leary takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Pearson working the ground and pound. Pearson wants to control but O Leary is keeping him busy. O Leary is trying to improve his position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pearson content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Pearson works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Lester Pearson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Pearson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fulton throws a series of punches but Hammer avoids them all with ease. Tra Fulton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jab from Fulton.
It looks like Jack Hammer has been cut. Hammer dives in and grabs Fulton's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fulton pushes down on Hammer's head and hops out. Fulton throws a series of punches but Hammer avoids them all with ease. Fulton looks to land a combination but Hammer avoids it well. Fulton throws a right and a left that both miss. Fulton throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hammer on the side of the head. Fulton shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hammer defends it nicely. Fulton displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hammer. Fulton uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hammer has time to react. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fulton throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hammer throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Fulton to counter with a crisp jab. Fulton connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hammer. Hammer circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fulton slaps away a takedown attempt from Hammer, before circling back to the center of the mat. Tra Fulton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Hammer. Fulton looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hammer keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Fulton. Fulton doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hammer holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Fulton is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Fulton avoiding damage as Hammer throws knees to the body.
Hammer is pushing Fulton up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Hammer should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Fulton tries to pull guard but Hammer holds him up against the ropes and eventually Fulton drops back down to his feet.
Fulton gets control of Hammer's arms and successfully pulls guard. Fulton will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fulton had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hammer is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Fulton Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hammer's back instead. Hammer is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Good control from Fulton. Fulton looking for the RNC. Fulton is looking for the choke from the back position but Hammer is controlling his hands well. Hammer defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Fulton's arms. Hammer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fulton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hammer is trying to get back to his feet but Fulton has full control of the position and if anything, Hammer has just worked his way into a worse spot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammer tries to escape but Fulton has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Fulton gets his hands free as Hammer looks to control. Hammer is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Fulton.

DeBlunt lands with a straight right. Drago didn't see that one coming.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Junior Gracie! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gracie. Anderson drives through with a takedown into guard. Gracie is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Anderson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Anderson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Anderson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Gracie is looking for a triangle but Anderson pushes his legs off easily.
Anderson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Anderson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gracie is proving hard to escape from. Anderson lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Gracie had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Anderson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gracie Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Anderson's back instead. Well, with Gracie on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Anderson is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Anderson rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
