The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shamba lands a high kick!
Ozcop steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Shamba. Shamba tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ozcop tries to score with a low kick but Shamba moves his leg out of the way. Ozcop misses with a leg kick. Ozcop throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Shamba throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Shamba fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ozcop manages to avoid it. Ozcop swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ozcop throws an overhand right that lands on Shamba's shoulder, as Shamba tries to avoid the shot. Shamba feints a jab promting Ozcop to slip. Shamba then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ozcop slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Shamba tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Ozcop moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Ozcop slips under a jab. Shamba throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Shamba punishes Ozcop's body with a nice straight punch. Ozcop throws a low kick but it's checked well by Shamba.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shamba uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ozcop. Ozcop throws a series of punches but Shamba moves out of range. Ozcop staying out of range there. Shamba lands a nice hook to Ozcop's body. Ozcop takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. A head kick misses from Shamba. Shamba throws a shot from downtown. Ozcop moves away and avoids it. Ozcop pushes Shamba away with a front kick. Shamba pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Ozcop avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Shamba misses with a left hand and Ozcop counters with a head kick. Ozcop misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Shamba.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ozcop lands a glancing blow to the side of Shamba's head. Ozcop moves into the clinch. Ozcop pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Ozcop misses with a low kick as Shamba jumps back.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shamba throws a lazy right hand but Ozcop sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Some wild striking there from Shamba.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Good leg kick by Ozcop there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

and Ozcop counters with a good low kick that Shamba was not able to check. Shamba jabbing away but nothing is landing. Shamba throws a right hand that misses
and Ozcop counters with a leg kick. Shamba takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Shamba has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ozcop finds it's way round the side to connect with Shamba's head. Ozcop buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Shamba throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Shamba lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ozcop circles away quickly and effectively. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Shamba lands a jab. Ozcop slips a jab and a cross from Shamba.

Besik Shamba dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Ozcop is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Shamba rather than just go for the knockout. Ozcop thuds a left hand into Shamba's body. Shamba throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ozcop takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shamba throws a sloppy head kick and Ozcop moves out of range easily. Ozcop misses with a head kick.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Ozcop in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. A kick lands to the mid section there for Shamba. Ozcop throws a body punch but Shamba moves out of range. Shamba tries a head kick but it misses.

Besik Shamba is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ozcop ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shamba moves away. Ozcop is looking to slow Shamba down with leg kicks. Shamba tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Besik Shamba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A solid body kick from Ozcop. Shamba lands a slapping body shot.
Ozcop takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Shamba looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Shamba swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ozcop. Ozcop misses with a hook. Shamba ducked under it nicely. Ozcop misses with a jab, cross combination.

Ozcop fails in his attempt to clinch. Shamba missing with a left hand there. Ozcop was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Ozcop uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shamba. Ozcop fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. A telegraphed right hand from Shamba misses the target. Ozcop lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Ozcop scores with a hook. Shamba misses with a hook. Ozcop ducked under it nicely. Ozcop ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. The fight moves into the clinch position. Shamba wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Shamba breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ozcop.
Ozcop pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Shamba throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Ozcop. Ozcop ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Ozcop lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Shamba at a distance.
Shamba pushes Ozcop away with a front kick. Ozcop bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Shamba's head. Shamba takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Ozcop tries to work over Shamba's front leg with a kick but Shamba checks it. Shamba's jab looks to have found its range, popping Ozcop under the eye.

Ozcop tries to get into range but Shamba steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Ozcop! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Shamba scores the big KO victory!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dotson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Dumile looking to pass the guard. Dotson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Dumile has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Dumile lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Dumile wants to pass the guard but Dotson is keeping the position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dumile's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Dumile connects with a couple of short punches. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dumile throws a big elbow that misses. Dotson wants to sweep here but Dumile controlling him for the moment. Dumile throwing strikes from guard but Dotson blocks nicely. Dotson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dumile on the ground. Dotson wants to stand and escape but Dumile is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dotson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Dumile lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Dotson keeping moving, preventing Dumile from controlling successfully. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dumile's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Dumile throws an elbow that misses. Dotson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dumile's guard. Nice move by Dotson! Dotson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Dotson passes Dumile's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Dumile has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dotson is working away from the top position though. Dotson seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Dotson trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dumile makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dumile. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dumile working for a triangle but Dotson defends it easily.

Dumile manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dotson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dumile looking for a guillotine from mount but Dotson is having none of it. Dumile punishing his opponent with strikes. Dumile wants to control the pace but Dotson is squirming around nicely. Dotson is looking to improve his position but Dumile isn't that keen on the idea. Dumile with a couple of short strikes. Dotson tries to hold on but Dumile pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dumile looking to finish Dotson with some ground and pound. This is bad for Dotson!
Dotson is rocked! Dumile lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Dotson! Dumile sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Dotson and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Daniel Dumile! Post fight, Daniel Dumile stared into the camera and said 'WHEN YOU SEE TIN HEAD TELL HIM BE DUCKIN DOWN'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wolf throws a leg kick but Nevsky moved away. Nevsky will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Nevsky with a poor takedown enabling Wolf to counter with a crisp jab. Nevsky gets a double leg takedown into Wolf's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Nevsky throws an elbow that misses. Wolf uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Nevsky's guard. Nice move by Wolf! Nevsky working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wolf doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wolf manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Wolf advances to half guard. Wolf wants to take a breather but Nevsky is having none of it. Wolf trying to mount his opponent but Nevsky defends it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. and Grover counters with a nice double leg into guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Grover wants to control from the top but Rapist keeps moving. Grover got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rapist has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Grover has managed to get both his arms back between Rapist's legs - danger averted. Grover pushes down on Rapist's leg and manages to get into half guard. Rapist is trying to control but can't.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Grover connects with a nice short shot to Rapist's temple. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rapist trying to control here.
Grover knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rapist on the ground.

Grover is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Rapist wants to control but Grover is keeping busy.
Rapist is concentrating on defense, preventing Grover from advancing position. Rapist is looking for a sweep. Grover is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rapist makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rapist. Grover trying to control the position from guard on top but Rapist is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rapist escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Grover gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Rapist is trying to control the position but Grover postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rapist might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Grover kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Grover avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Rapist manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Grover manages to get himself to full guard.

Rapist tries for a takedown but Grover circles away easily and Grover makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. MSgt. Francis Grover has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brutal Rapist. Good standup being displayed there by Grover as he connects with a hook. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rapist takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Grover looking to sit in guard and control but Rapist gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Grover is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. Grover lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Well, if Rapist is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
