The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kedernon needs to keep his hands up - O Donnell had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Gamon Kedernon has been cut. Kedernon takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. O Donnell throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Kedernon takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Good exchange - O Donnell coming out on top. Victor O Donnell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! O Donnell getting the better of the striking in that exchange. O Donnell cracks a nice hook into Kedernon's ribs. Kedernon looks gassed! Nice straight punches there by O Donnell. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of O Donnell.
That has opened up Gamon Kedernon's cut even more. O Donnell lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kedernon at a distance.
O Donnell lands a nice hook to Kedernon's body. Kedernon takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. O Donnell cracks Kedernon with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. A shot to the liver by O Donnell. Beautiful body shot. O Donnell lands a big uppercut and Kedernon crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kedernon looks OK. O Donnell waves Kedernon back to his feet!

That's one minute gone in the round. O Donnell looks for the body kick but Kedernon saw that one coming. O Donnell throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kedernon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Nice body punch from O Donnell. O Donnell works Kedernon's body with a nice hook. Jab, jab by O Donnell - just one landing.
The cut above Gamon Kedernon's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. O Donnell clobbers Kedernon with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Kedernon is still on wobbly legs! Can O Donnell finish him? O Donnell scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. O Donnell is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. O Donnell throws a solid leg kick but Kedernon takes the impact on his shin and smiles at O Donnell. Kedernon seems to have recovered his senses. Kedernon takes a body punch but keeps moving. Kedernon gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! O Donnell gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Victor O Donnell! A very excited looking Victor O Donnell rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Rodriguez does no damage. Rodriguez uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Panzram. Rodriguez ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Panzram moves away. Rodriguez lands a jab. Rodriguez looks to land a right hand but Panzram moved out of range. Panzram throws the left hand but Rodriguez avoids the punch easily. Panzram fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rodriguez. Panzram throws a low kick, looking for Rodriguez's leg but Rodriguez calmly moves out of range. Rodriguez swings widly with a right hand
and Panzram counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Panzram uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rodriguez. Rodriguez closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Rodriguez working away. Panzram is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Panzram manages to get back to half guard.

Materazzi looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Le Rone makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Le Rone lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Le Rone tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Materazzi avoids it. Materazzi is trying to force a seperation but Le Rone has the dominant position. A nice left hand lands by Le Rone.

Materazzi is trying to push Le Rone away but Le Rone has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Materazzi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Materazzi with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Le Rone to score with a decent uppercut.

The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Le Rone lands a nice looking body kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Silent Arbiter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mantis Toboggan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arbiter comes to the cage accompanied by Justice. Toboggan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Reaching Out. Mantis Toboggan told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Silent Arbiter! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mantis Toboggan! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Toboggan looks to score with a jab to the body but Arbiter is just out of range. Toboggan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A nice inside leg kick there by Arbiter. That's going to slow Toboggan down. Arbiter throws a sloppy body shot
and Toboggan counters with a left to the body. Toboggan waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Arbiter. Toboggan throws a low kick but Arbiter avoids it. Toboggan misses with a low kick. Arbiter misses with a leg kick and Toboggan counters with a nice body kick.
Arbiter throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Toboggan looks to land a right hand but Arbiter moved out of range. Toboggan lands with a shot to the body. Toboggan lands a slapping body shot.
Arbiter misses with an uppercut. Toboggan saw that one coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Toboggan lands the left hand. Toboggan just misses with a punch to the body.
Toboggan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Arbiter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Arbiter throws a hook to the side of Toboggan's head but Toboggan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Toboggan attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Toboggan throws a sloppy body shot
and Toboggan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Arbiter uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Toboggan.
Arbiter scores with a jab to the head.
Toboggan is looking to score with low kicks. Arbiter scores with the left hand. Toboggan knows he should have avoided that one. Arbiter misses with a right hand and Toboggan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Toboggan cracks Arbiter with an open hand slap. Toboggan forces Arbiter back against the cage and clinches. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Toboggan is looking to break free of the clinch but Arbiter has double underhooks. Arbiter misses with a punch on the inside.
Toboggan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Arbiter jabbing away but nothing is landing. Arbiter throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Toboggan sees it coming and avoids it easily. Toboggan throws an overhand right that lands on Arbiter's shoulder, as Arbiter tries to avoid the shot. Toboggan is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Arbiter rather than just go for the knockout. Arbiter misses with a leg kick. Arbiter lands with an uppercut that bounces Toboggan off the cage and back into range. Toboggan throws a leg kick but Arbiter checks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Toboggan takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Arbiter drops Toboggan with a beautiful combination! Toboggan stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Arbiter is looking for the KO!
Toboggan is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Arbiter sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Toboggan's defenses. It connects perfectly with Toboggan's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Silent Arbiter! Silent Arbiter retains his middleweight title! Silent Arbiter looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Good fight bro.'.
