Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Putnam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Rickets (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Putnam's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, tap out. Rickets has chosen Notorious B.I.G - Juicy as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Rickets! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Putnam with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rickets to score with a decent uppercut. Putnam fails with a takedown attempt. Putnam throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Putnam blocks a jab. Rickets scores with a punch to the head. Putnam dodges the punch combination from Rickets.
Rickets lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Putnam circles away quickly and effectively. Rickets swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rickets throws a left and a right that both miss
and Putnam counters with a flying knee. Nice. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Putnam.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rickets lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Putnam circles away quickly and effectively. Rickets swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Putnam counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Putnam looking to pass the guard. Putnam throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rickets works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Putnam throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Putnam trying to control the position from guard on top but Rickets is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Putnam thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Putnam throwing strikes but missing.

Rickets preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Rickets wants to stand and escape but Putnam is having none of it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rickets can do anything to dispel that myth. Putnam postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Putnam wants to stand but Rickets is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Putnam is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Putnam won't allow Rickets to get back to his feet. Putnam decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Rickets, up you get! Chris Rickets is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Rickets displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Putnam.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Putnam closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rickets circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ronnie Putnam. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Rickets!

That was a close round but I would say that Ronnie Putnam will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

Rickets is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Rickets is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Putnam.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Moorer wants to sweep here but Silva controlling him for the moment. Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Moorer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Silva tries to free his leg and advance position but Moorer is retaining full guard. Silva is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Moorer wants to stand up but Silva is controlling him.

Silva is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Moorer knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Moorer for a finish. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Moorer tries to escape but Silva has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Silva struggling to keep hold of the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Moorer defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Silva's arms. Silva seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Moorer's chin but Moorer turns very nicely into Silva's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Moorer.
Moorer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Silva bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Moorer's guard. Moorer is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Silva is controlling him. Moorer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Silva wants to control from the top but Moorer keeps moving.

Silva pushing down on Moorer's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Silva slows the pace down in half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Moorer is not content to let Silva control the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Moorer can do anything to dispel that myth. Moorer is looking for a sweep. Silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. No luck with that takedown attempt from Silva. Excellent takedown into side control there by Moorer. The strikes coming from Moorer are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Moorer with the ground and pound but Silva regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Moorer seems to be looking for submissions.
Moorer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Moorer throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Moorer throwing shots but Silva is blocking nicely.

Moorer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Silva keeping moving, preventing Moorer from controlling successfully. Silva manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Moorer manages to get himself to full guard.

Silva wants to control from the top but Moorer keeps moving. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Hacran Silva has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Moorer throws an overhand right that lands on Silva's shoulder, as Silva tries to avoid the shot. Silva shoots in for a double leg but Moorer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Silva showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Moorer.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Moorer tries for a takedown but Silva sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Moorer misses with a wild body shot. Silva uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Moorer. Moorer thuds his right hand into Silva's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Silva bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Moorer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Silva stands and throws Moorer's legs to the side, diving into side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Silva working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Moorer dodges the ground and pound from Silva. Moorer can't do much from the bottom here. Moorer is not content to let Silva control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Hacran Silva will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Silva looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Dudley Moorer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Moorer wants to get back to his feet but Silva drags him back down. Silva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moorer keeps working. Silva looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Silva is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Moorer is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

After a battle for position, Silva asserts his dominance and retains side control. Silva is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Moorer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lagerboy stuffs the takedown attempt from Gunner. Gunner gets slowly back to his feet. Lagerboy dives in and grabs Gunner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gunner pushes down on Lagerboy's head and hops out. Lagerboy fails with the takedown and Gunner counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lagerboy! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Gunner works his way to his opponent's back.

Gunner is looking to advance position but Lagerboy won't allow it. Gunner thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lagerboy's head. Nick Gunner overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lagerboy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gunner is working away from the top position though. Lagerboy is looking for a sweep. Gunner is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Lagerboy is breathing heavily.

Lagerboy doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gunner. Gunner working Lagerboy over with strikes. Lagerboy looking for submissions off his back. Lagerboy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gunner pulls his head out easily. Ground and pound from Gunner. Gunner moves into full mount! Lagerboy won't be happy about that! Gunner is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Gunner extends the arm and Lagerboy is forced to tap!

Cam wants to clinch but Rua slips to the side and Rua counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Rua wants to control but Cam is keeping him busy. Nice strikes from Rua there. Rua slips a nice elbow through Cam's hands, connecting with Cam's forehead. Rua has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Cam on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sloppy strikes there by Rua. Rua tries to advance position but instead Cam slips a leg back in to half guard. Well, if Rua is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lannister throws a shot from downtown. Fu moves away and avoids it. Lannister scores with a sloppy right hand. Fu should have avoided that one. Fu gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Jaime Lannister seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Fu, right into the meat.
Lannister connects with a right hand. Fu shakes it off. Fu attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Fu ducks under a wild hook from Lannister. Fu feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Lannister's calf. Fu with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fu takes one to the side of the head.

Lannister might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. A big left from Lannister misses. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Fu dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lannister. That did some damage! Jaime Lannister is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fu goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Fu connects with an inside leg kick. A slow jab from Lannister misses its intended target. Fu scoring well with a low kick there.

Fu wants to control the pace but Lannister is squirming around nicely. Lannister tries to get back to half guard but can't. Fu throwing strikes but Lannister bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top. Lannister preventing the sweep.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hatt swings away with a leg kick that misses. Hatt bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Santz's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Santz is not content to let Hatt control the position. Santz is trying to buck Hatt off. Hatt throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Hatt wants to control but Santz is keeping him busy. Hatt advances to full mount. Hatt with good strikes from the mount here!
That's one minute gone in the round. A big strike lands for Hatt! That's really hurt Santz and he's turned his back - Hatt keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Hatt jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Deli working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Deli distracts Lofs with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. This has been an exciting period of action! Deli postures up and lands a big shot to Lofs's brow. Lofs has momentary wrist control but Deli slips an elbow through the middle.

Coryatt uses good head movement to avoid the hook from LeFleur. LeFleur throws an overhand right that lands on Coryatt's shoulder, as Coryatt tries to avoid the shot. Allen LeFleur seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. LeFleur on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Coryatt slaps away a takedown attempt from LeFleur, before circling back to the center of the mat. Coryatt shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. LeFleur cracks Coryatt with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Coryatt throws a leg kick but LeFleur sees it coming and moves out of range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! LeFleur ducks under a wild hook from Coryatt. Coryatt lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

That was a close round but I would say that Allen LeFleur will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

He's got his arms around Coryatt's waist but Coryatt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing LeFleur off to one side. Allen LeFleur is winning the standup battle so far. 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abraham Psi! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loompa closes this distance looking for a takedown but Psi circles away. Psi looks to land a combination but Loompa avoids it well. Loompa throws a quick inside leg kick. Psi throws a series of punches but Loompa moves out of range. Psi lands a really nice looking cross but Loompa seems unphased.
Psi avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Psi blocks a leg kick. A telegraphed right hand from Psi misses the target. Loompa lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Loompa lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Loompa is looking to land body kicks. Loompa takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

and Loompa counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Loompa throws the kick towards the body but Psi avoids it. Psi misses with a hook. Loompa ducked under it nicely. Loompa looks to land a body kick but Psi moved away. A jab from Psi misses. Loompa misses with a series of wild punches.
Loompa is looking to slow Psi down with leg kicks. Loompa closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Psi did well to prevent Loompa getting side control. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Loompa scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

and Loompa counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Psi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Loompa. Psi is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Psi takes one on the button. Loompa lands a nice shot to the body.
Loompa sizes up Psi with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Psi has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Loompa.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Psi walks forward, straight into a front kick from Loompa. Loompa ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. A solid leg kick lands there for Loompa.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Loompa, right into the meat.
That kick from Loompa tenderised Psi's leg. Psi is trying to keep his angry face on. Loompa connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Psi tries to move into range but Loompa moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Psi missing with a left hand there. Loompa was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Psi on the wrong end of a nice hook. Psi takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Psi is rocked! Loompa dances in with a quick combination. Psi is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Loompa snaps Psi's head back. Psi stumbles backwards against the cage. Loompa steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Psi's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Psi just didn't come prepared.
