The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gomez gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Cowen makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Cowen throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Cowen wants to land a leg kick but Gomez is out of range. Gomez slips a straight right by Cowen. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gomez is defended easily by Cowen. Gomez shoots for a takedown but Cowen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jared Cowen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marco Gomez. A slapping body kick lands there for Cowen.

I think Cowen should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gomez has tightened it up now! Cowen should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Talha moves away from the strike by Cade. Talha tries for a takedown but Cade sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Talha is defended easily by Cade. Nice takedown defense from Cade. No joy for Talha on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Firnanda Talha. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cade misses with a wild body shot. Talha slips a straight right by Cade. Cade tries to land a leg kick but Talha saw it coming and moves away.
