The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gunnarsson fakes the leg kick and cracks Botello in the body. Botello looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Gunnarsson feints a jab and as Botello dips his head, Gunnarsson unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Botello right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Botello falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the ropes! Gunnarsson smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Teitur Gunnarsson! Teitur Gunnarsson bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peri doesn't succeed with the takedown and Cipovski counters with a takedown into side control. Peri tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Cipovski working the ground and pound. Cipovski scoring with punches and elbows. Peri tries to bench press Cipovski off him but Cipovski keeps the position. Cipovski landing a few strikes. Cipovski connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Peri some visible discomfort.

Peri is not content to let Cipovski control the position. Cipovski tries to advance position but instead Peri slips a leg back in to half guard. Cipovski scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Cipovski trying to control the position from guard on top but Peri is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boyka paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Danga de danga de dang - Ros scores with a four punch combination! Boyka connects with a single shot there.
It looks like Ronny Ros has been cut. Ros showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Boyka.
Ros throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Ros lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Boyka circles away quickly and effectively. Boyka throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ros fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Boyka on the side of the head. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Ros!
Ros throws a right and a left that both miss. Boyka swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Ros fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Ros is rocked! Boyka throws a lazy right hand but Ros sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Ros ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Boyka moves away. Boyka throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ros sees it coming and avoids it easily. Ros takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boyka tries to keep at a distance but Ros has taken the fight into the clinch. Boyka breaks the clinch.
Boyka scores with a punch to the head. Boyka throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ros counters with a one-two to the body. Ros slips under a jab from Boyka. Boyka bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ros's head. Oh Ros is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Boyka seems to be stalking Ros here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Ros drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

Kolano misses with a wild body shot. Haack fails with the takedown and Kolano counters with a one-two to the body. Kolano tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Haack counters by clinching up. Kolano is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Haack can't fight it off and eventually Kolano manages to take the fight to the floor. Haack looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Haack looking for a guillotine here but Kolano defends easily.

It looks like Lonny Waters has been cut. Waters throws a poor cross that misses
and Bzdunek cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Waters instigates a clinch. Waters breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
John Bzdunek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bzdunek with a lazy takedown attempt and Waters counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Bzdunek is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Waters is defending well. Waters is pushing Bzdunek up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Waters lands with a short punch from the clinch.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John Bzdunek. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bzdunek, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
