2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tyler Hendrix! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva slips a jab and a cross from Hendrix.
Hendrix gets a takedown into half guard. Silva looking for submissions off his back. Hendrix really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Silva avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hendrix. Hendrix missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Silva trying to control from the bottom.
Hendrix throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Silva to regain full guard. Silva wants to stand and escape but Hendrix is having none of it. Hendrix is looking to work some ground and pound but Silva has wrist control. Hendrix must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hendrix throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Silva is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hendrix is controlling him. Hendrix has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Silva is proving hard to escape from.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hendrix is one step ahead there. Hendrix stands up over Silva, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Hendrix is looking to stand up but Silva won't let him. Hendrix working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Hendrix looking to pass the guard. Hendrix missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Hendrix prevents Silva from getting back to his feet. Hendrix landing some decent shots from guard. Silva is pulling down on Hendrix's head to control his posture.

Hendrix stands up over Silva, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hendrix trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Silva has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Hendrix has passed into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hendrix is putting a hurting on Silva here, landing some big shots from side control. Hendrix working away. Hendrix cracks Silva with a big right hand but Silva just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Hendrix looks up at the clock and then as Silva takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Hendrix smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Silva is rocked! Hendrix working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Silva is breathing heavily. Hendrix scoring with punches and elbows. Oh Silva is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hendrix cracks Silva with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Hendrix immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Silva is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Hendrix!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Olson throws the left hand but Ben Faur avoids the punch easily. Olson scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Jean Ben Faur has been cut. Olson throws a jab when Ben Faur was well out of range. Ben Faur slips a straight right by Olson. Ben Faur ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Olson throws out a loose jab but Ben Faur uses good head movement to avoid it. Olson jabbing away but nothing is landing. Ben Faur rushes Olson and presses him up against the cage. Olson is trying to break the clinch but Ben Faur has him pressed against the cage. Ben Faur jumps guard but Olson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Ben Faur keeps control of Olson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Olson wants to break free but Ben Faur has control.
Olson prevents a takedown attempt there.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Olson throws a right hand that Ben Faur ducks under and follows up with a left that Ben Faur also avoids with ease. Ben Faur drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Ben Faur wants to control but Olson is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Olson wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Ben Faur is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Olson has escaped the position, nice work there. Olson wants to get back to his feet but Ben Faur drags him back down. Ben Faur decides to take the fight back to the feet. Olson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Olson looks winded! Olson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ben Faur. Ben Faur will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jean Ben Faur. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ben Faur tries to clinch but Olson moves out of range. A jab from Olson does it's job there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ben Faur throws a head kick that half lands.

and Ben Faur counters with a two punch combo. Olson avoids the body shot from Ben Faur.
Olson displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Ben Faur uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Olson. Kevin Olson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Olson lands with an overhand left. Ben Faur takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Horrible takedown by Ben Faur or perhaps it was just good defense by Olson which made him look bad. Ben Faur misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Olson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Olson scores with a punch to the head.
Ben Faur is rocked! Olson might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Olson looks to land a left hand but Ben Faur moved out of range nicely. Kevin Olson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Good standup being displayed there by Olson as he connects with a hook. Oh Ben Faur is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ben Faur ducks under a wild hook from Olson. Ben Faur ducks under a wild hook from Olson. Olson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ben Faur. Olson looks to land a left hand but Ben Faur moved out of range nicely. Olson throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Ben Faur stumbling backwards into the cage! Ben Faur bounces back off the cage towards Olson, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Olson lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Olson celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
