8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, John Smith! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weimar dives in and grabs Smith's left leg, looking for a takedown. Smith pushes down on Weimar's head and hops out. Weimar shoots in but Smith avoids the takedown attempt easily. Horrible takedown by Weimar or perhaps it was just good defense by Smith which made him look bad. Weimar seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Franz Weimar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Weimar tries for a takedown but Smith circles away easily and Smith counters with a slapping leg kick. Weimar is breathing heavily. Smith scores with a push kick. Franz Weimar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Weimar crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Smith - the referee stops the clock and Weimar gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Smith. Weimar manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Smith throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Weimar crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

Koltun throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Koltun throws a body punch but Higuita moves out of range. Higuita swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Koltun throws a head kick that misses and Higuita counters with a low kick, right behind Koltun 's knee. Koltun tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Higuita misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice shot by Higuita. Higuita closes the distance and pushes Koltun back into the cage. Koltun throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Kawada. Kawada wants to clinch up but MacRoberts keeps it at a distance. A combination from Kawada does no damage. Kawada throws a wild combination but nothing lands. MacRoberts throws a one two combo.
MacRoberts drops Kawada with a beautiful combination! Kawada stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - MacRoberts is looking for the KO! Kawada does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kawada. Kawada doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling MacRoberts to counter with a crisp jab. Kawada looks winded! MacRoberts lands a head shot. MacRoberts scores with a jab to the jaw. Michael MacRoberts is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. MacRoberts scores with a nice head shot. MacRoberts connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kawada. Kawada circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Kawada fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but MacRoberts avoids it really well and circles away.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Fluke tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but White was well out of range. Poor timing from Fluke. Fluke misses with a head kick.

Fluke fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from White. White connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. White ducks under a wild hook from Fluke. White with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. White thows a body shot but no joy. Fluke throws a leg kick but White sees it coming and checks it nicely. Fluke misses with a body shot.
Fluke gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Fluke shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Fluke uses his free foot to push down on White's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for White. Fluke lands with some vicious ground and pound - can White hang on? Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! White working to try and regain half guard.

White is trying desperately to improve position. White tries to lock up and control but Fluke gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
