Joe moves into the clinch.
Chernicin goes for a takedown in the clinch but Joe prevents it.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Geist jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Olofsson tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Geist counters with a slapping leg kick.
Sloppy strikes from Olofsson. Those never looked like landing.
That kick from Geist tenderised Olofsson's leg. Olofsson is trying to keep his angry face on.
Geist feints and then cracks Olofsson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Olofsson down.

Geist lands a left and a right that send Olofsson crashing to the mat, dazed. Geist thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Olofsson is rocked!

It looks like Olaf Olofsson has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Geist lands a nice leg kick that just misses Olofsson's sensitive parts.
Oh Olofsson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Look low, kick high! Geist uses the oldest trick in the book to send Olofsson tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Geist is absolutely delighted - when Olofsson wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

Toepfer shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wilson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Petrycki catches Hicks with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Hicks fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Petrycki avoids it really well and circles away.
Petrycki's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hicks under the eye.
Hicks looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hicks crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Petrycki - the referee stops the clock and Hicks gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Petrycki. Hicks manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Kid.
Kid throws a lazy right hand but Santana sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Santana fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kid, pushing him back against the cage.
Kid has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Kid tries to work over Santana's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Kid lands with a light punch inside.
Santana pushes Kid back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Kid throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Santanas head.

Kid breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kid scores with the left hand. Santana knows he should have avoided that one.
Kid Rushes Santana and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Santana is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Kid Piles on the pressure and Santana crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Karate Kid!

Karate Kid thanked the fans post fight for their support.
In defeat, Antonio Santana stepped up to the mic, saying 'I wanted to the champ for a long time, but I had a bad night. His wrestling was too strong for me tonight, so I need to go back to the gym and train on it. I will be back stronger! I promise!'.
