The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beck uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shephard.
Beck dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Beck looks to land a combination but Shephard avoids it well. Shephard closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Beck did well to prevent Shephard getting side control. The fighters are battling for position here. Beck manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Beck trying to control the position here. I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. An inside leg kick lands from Barnes. Reyes on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Barnes getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Barnes lands a jab to the head.

Reyes trying to control the position but instead, Barnes has worked for underhooks and has pushed Reyes into the cage. Mike Barnes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Reyes looking to throw knees to the head but Barnes is blocking nicely.

Reyes's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Barnes lands a left hand that snaps the head of Reyes backwards. A left hand lands to the body for Reyes.
Reyes tries to throw a body punch but Barnes avoids it by throwing Reyes back against the cage. Reyes lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Barnes or not. Barnes tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Reyes manages to break the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice defenses there by Barnes. Decent striking displayed by Reyes there. Reyes throws a body punch but Barnes moves out of range. Barnes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Reyes.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mike Barnes. I think Reyes has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fenili shoots in for a takedown but God shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Fenili closes the distance but God moves to the side and God counters with a right hand to the body. God defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fenili. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fenili is defended easily by God. God swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Gully God has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gabriel Fenili. God pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Fenili back to the cage. God follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. God scores with a sloppy right hand. Fenili should have avoided that one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fenili tries for a takedown but God circles away easily and God makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Fenili really felt that one! God stuffs the takedown. Nice takedown defense from God. No joy for Fenili on that attempt. God avoids a punch combination nicely.
God throws a quick counter head kick but Fenili was just out of range. Fenili fails with the takedown and God counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Fenili with a nice cross. God scores with a hook to the body. Fenili takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Fenili shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. It looked like God was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Fenili.
That's two minutes gone in the round. God works Fenili's body with a nice hook. God lands a left and a right that send Fenili crashing to the mat, dazed. God thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fenili misses with a wild body shot. Fenili shoots in for a double leg but God sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. God drops Fenili with a straight right hand, right on the button! God follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schoots feints and then cracks Cardoso's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cardoso down. Schoots jabs at Cardoso's body. A chopping leg kick lands by Cardoso. Cardoso has a takedown stuffed. And Schoots counters with a quick kick to the body but Cardoso blocks it. Schoots on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. A momentary lapse in concentration from Cardoso enables Schoots to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cardoso manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Presting changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Aoki tries to avoid it but Presting manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Aoki to the ground. Aoki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Aoki changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Aoki blocks a head kick by Presting.
Aoki drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Presting defends it well. Presting closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Aoki to the mat! Aoki manages to get full guard. Munalukko dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lutsky. That did some damage! Lutsky swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Kilpatrick thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jokinen's head. Nice strikes from Kilpatrick there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mannelly avoids the body shot from Batson.

Mannelly throws a push kick but Batson slaps the foot to one side. Mannelly takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Mannelly scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Batson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Mundo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lima as he avoids it easily. Mundo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lima defends well and Mundo ends up having to push Lima into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Mundo looks to land a right hand but Lima moved out of range. Doctor Mundo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lima tries to clinch up but Mundo circles away and keeps his distance. Lima stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lima wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Doctor Mundo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mundo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lima's waist but Lima gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mundo off to one side. Mundo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nixon's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Luzhin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nixon scrambles back to his feet. Nixon on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Nixon lets loose with a powerful body kick. Luzhin will feel that in the morning. Luzhin loads up on a big right hand but Nixon slips the punch. Nixon takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Luzhin darts in trying to clinch and Nixon counters with a slapping leg kick. Nixon staying out of range there. Nixon stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Luzhin misses with an uppercut

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nixon has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nixon and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Luzhin cracks the inside of Nixon's front leg.
