11 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Mendes! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Alyssa Summers and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Mendes has clasped his hands together around Urpilainen's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Mendes stands up and beckons Urpilainen to his feet. Mendes throws a half hearted mid kick. Urpilainen with a lazy takedown attempt and Mendes makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Urpilainen really felt that one! Urpilainen throws a hook to the side of Mendes's head but Mendes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Urpilainen misses with a two punch combination.
Mendes fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Urpilainen swinging wildly here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mendes is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Urpilainen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mendes circles away. Mendes closes the distance and pushes Urpilainen back into the cage. Mendes prevents the takedown attempt.

Urpilainen is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mendes pulls him back up using the underhooks. Urpilainen is trying to drag Mendes to the mat but Mendes just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva thows a left - swing and a miss! Silva avoids the head kick by Paul.

Silva circles away from the clinch attempt and Silva counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Silva thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Paul's head. Paul tries to kick Silva off but Silva keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Silva takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Paul wants to improve his position but Silva is controlling well.

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. This could be trouble! No, Paul has managed to free his arm - good work. Silva is just content to waste time from the top position. Paul takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! DeLuise lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Pot shoots in for a takedown but DeLuise shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. DeLuise let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. DeLuise throws a push kick but Pot slaps the foot to one side. Pot is trying hard to land a takedown here. DeLuise sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Pot misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pot closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pot lands in his opponent's guard. DeLuise has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pot can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Pot trying to control but DeLuise is working from the bottom. DeLuise stuffs the takedown. Pot moves out of range of the body kick. Pot lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Dom DeLuise seems to be getting the better of the standup. A good leg kick by DeLuise. Crunch! DeLuise slams his shin into Pot's torso. DeLuise moves out of range as Pot strikes. Both fighters circling a little - DeLuise finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. DeLuise throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A telegraphed right hand from Pot misses the target. DeLuise lands a left and a right that send Pot crashing to the mat, dazed. DeLuise thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Pot is rocked!
It looks like Jack Pot has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Pot drops his hands for a split second and DeLuise immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Pot face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. DeLuise follows up with a right hand that knocks Pot into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ferguson misses with a low kick. Estevez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Ferguson throws a low kick but it's checked well by Estevez. Ferguson stuffs the takedown. Ferguson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Sweat Lodge in the buildup to the fight. Ferguson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ferguson takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Ferguson throws a sloppy head kick and Estevez moves out of range easily. Estevez tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Ferguson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Estevez. Estevez obviously looking to wear him down.

Estevez has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ferguson is landing a low percentage of strikes. Ferguson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. As Estevez backs away, Ferguson returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Ferguson thumps Estevez with a low kick. A solid leg kick lands there for Ferguson.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A knee to the head by Ferguson.

Johnson postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Kyoraku keeping full guard, as Johnson tries to pass. Johnson throwing strikes from guard but Kyoraku blocks nicely. Johnson lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
