5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kev Rubio! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Roberts and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A right-left combo lands from Morris. Morris will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rubio steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Morris swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rubio ducks under a wild hook from Morris. Morris shoots in for a double leg but Rubio sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Morris lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Morris changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rubio looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Morris in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. This has been an exciting period of action! Rubio is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Morris tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Morris thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Morris wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rubio keeps working. Morris in side control, throwing shots but Rubio defends. Morris lands some shots froms side control. Morris taking a break here but Rubio is having none of it and regains half guard. Morris takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Morris is nestled in close to Rubio, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Morris is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Morris thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Morris throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Morris stalling. Morris looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rubio with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Morris sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Rubio defending well though. Rubio wants to get back to his feet.
Rubio makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Rubio fails in his attempt to clinch. Nice sprawl there from Rubio as Morris shoots in. As Morris backs off Rubio throws a huge counter combo but Morris manages to avoid it all.

Rubio is rocked! Morris grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Rubio takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Morris cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Man shoots in but no luck this time. Sabel works Man's body with a nice hook. Sabel dips to his left and cracks Man with an uppercut! Sabel with a hook. Man has a takedown stuffed. Man fails with an attempt to clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Man has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Sabel closes the distance and clinches up with Man, looking for a takedown. Sabel pushes Man against the cage but Man circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Man is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Sabel. Man drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Man won't allow Sabel to sweep him here. Sabel wants to stand but Man is controlling the position. Man trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Man working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Man stands and throws Sabel's legs to the side, diving into side control. Sabel is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Man in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Man is trying to ground and pound but Sabel uses the momentary lack of control by Man to regain half guard. Man trying to mount his opponent but Sabel defends it. Man is trying to work for a kimura but Sabel is defending well.

Sabel is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Man lands a nice short elbow. Man throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Sabel to regain full guard. Sabel utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Man pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sabel is keeping the position for now. Man is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Man loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Man postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sabel is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Man, into his guard. Sabel looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Sabel passes Man's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Man manages to get to full guard.

Sabel stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sabel wants it to stay on the feet. Sabel with the counter takedown but Man avoids it easily. A jab from Sabel does it's job there. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sabel pushes down on Man's head and hops out. Sabel is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Man gets tackled into the cage by Sabel. Sabel maintains the clinch. Man is trying to drag Sabel to the mat but Sabel just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Chang Thong Song has got the better of the ground game so far. Thong Song wants to finish this one by submission but Gates is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Thong Song. Gates holds on to Thong Song as tight as he can, avoiding damage. Thong Song trying to control but Gates is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Thong Song sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Thong Song throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Gates because Thong Song loaded up on that one. Thong Song jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Gates manages to avoid the submission attempt. That's three minutes gone in the round. Thong Song has control of Gates's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Gates regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Thong Song wants to control the pace but Gates is squirming around nicely. Thong Song controlling from mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gates tries to lock up and control but Thong Song gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Jim Gates has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Thong Song trying to control but he's not successful this time.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sin takes one to the side of the head.
It looks like Reverend Sin has been cut. Munjiza circles away from the clinch attempt.
Good shot there by Munjiza. Nice body kick from Sin. Sin tries to clinch up. Sin tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Munjiza tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sin defends well and Munjiza ends up having to push Sin into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Sin tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Munjiza manages to circle out of the way. Some wild striking there from Munjiza.
Munjiza scores with a crisp jab that stopped Sin in his tracks. Donk. Munjiza catches Sin right on the button with a cross. Munjiza scores with a sloppy right hand. Sin should have avoided that one.
Reverend Sin's cut is getting worse. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! No joy there for Munjiza, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Munjiza throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sin tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Munjiza is in Sin's guard. Sin wants to sweep here but Munjiza controlling him for the moment. Sin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Munjiza trying to control the position from guard on top but Sin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Munjiza working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Munjiza trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Sin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Munjiza is one step ahead there. Munjiza looking to sit in guard and control but Sin gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sin stands up and waves to Munjiza to follow him. Munjiza has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Munjiza moves into the clinch successfully.

Sin tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Munjiza avoids it. Munjiza works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sin is on top in guard.

Munjiza keeping moving, preventing Sin from controlling successfully. Sin is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at School of Hard Knocks that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Munjiza seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Munjiza slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Munjiza won't allow Sin to sweep him here. And Matador tries to counter it with a takedown but Pillman pushes his down on his head and steps out. Matador gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Pillman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Pillman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Pillman cracks Matador with an elbow. That is naaassty. Matador is still in real trouble! Can Pillman finish him? We've been hearing that Pillman has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Pillman postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Matador seems to have recovered his senses. Pillman is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Matador's shoulder. That is not cool. Matador is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Pillman asserts his dominance and retains side control. The ground and pound from Pillman seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pillman is looking to take a break and control but Matador is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Matador pushes Pillman away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Pillman gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Matador throws Pillman to one side and escapes!

Pillman has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Pillman is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Matador is keeping busy. Pillman pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Matador tumbling to the mat - Pillman dives into Matador's guard. Brian Pillman is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Matador is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Pillman presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Matador drags the fight down to the ground.
Matador is looking to stand up but Pillman isn't so interested in that idea. Pillman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Matador is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. El Matador has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Matador working for a triangle but Pillman defends it easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Brian Pillman showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pillman , winning every round. Will the judges agree? Neal fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Neal looks to score with a jab to the body but Rude is just out of range. Jab by Neal. Rude uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Neal.

Rude looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rude is defended easily by Neal. Neal scores with a hook to the body. Rude has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Neal finds it's way round the side to connect with Rude's head.
It looks like Nick Rude has been cut. Neal stalks Rude and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rude's face. Rude staggers backwards, shaken.
