Price lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Milat circles away quickly and effectively. Price lands with a shot to the body. No joy there for Price, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Doubdtfire misses with a kick to the body enabling Oketch to counter with a crisp jab. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adams shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Alvaro pinned against the cage. Alvaro gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Adams misses with a series of wild punches.
Alvaro takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Alvaro changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Adams misses with a low kick. Adams misses with a left hand and Alvaro connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Alvaro throws a right hand that misses
and Adams counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Adams. Adams is looking to work some ground and pound but Alvaro has wrist control. Adams trying to control the position from guard on top but Alvaro is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Adams's corner is telling him to maintain position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Alvaro avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Adams. Adams tries to pass the half guard into mount. Alvaro knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Adams seems to be working for a kimura but Alvaro defends the submission attempt. Alvaro tries to kick Adams off but Adams keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Adams is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Alvaro sees it coming and defends easily. Adams trying to mount his opponent but Alvaro defends it. Adams thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Alvaro's head. Adams not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Adams is working for a kimura but Alvaro is defending it quite comfortably.

Adams seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Alvaro has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Adams is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Alvaro decides to stand up, so the ref orders Adams to his feet. Adams misses with an uppercut. Alvaro saw that one coming. Alvaro was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Alvaro takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Alvaro throws a hook but Adams avoids it easily. Adams tries to close the distance and clinch up but Alvaro swats him away and circles back towards the center. It looked like Alvaro wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

and Alvaro counters with a nice uppercut. Adams doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling Alvaro to counter with a crisp jab. Jose Alvaro is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Alvaro misses with a leg kick. Adams closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Alvaro to the mat! Alvaro manages to get full guard. Adams looking to sit in guard and control but Alvaro gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Alvaro engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Adams is working an open guard so Alvaro takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Alvaro lands a jab to the head.

Adams fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Alvaro is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Adams fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jose Alvaro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JR Adams. Adams lands a body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round. Alvaro takes a swing at Adams's ribcage but misses. Alvaro throws a lazy right hand but Adams sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Alvaro rushes Adams and presses him up against the cage. Alvaro lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. A shot in the inside from Adams. Adams is trying to push Alvaro away but Alvaro has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Adams has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Alvaro avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Alvaro breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Adams lands with a straight right. Alvaro didn't see that one coming. Alvaro thows a body kick. Adams tries to catch it but that hurt him. Alvaro throws a hook to the side of Adams's head but Adams sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A shot to the body from Adams misses and Alvaro counters with a nice body shot. Adams bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Alvaro with a hook. Alvaro is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. This has been an exciting period of action! Alvaro dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Adams tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Alvaro throws a leg kick that is checked and Adams counters with a single leg into guard. Alvaro didn't expect that. Adams passes Alvaro's left leg - he's now in half guard. Alvaro is trying to stand up here but Adams is controlling him well. Alvaro avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Adams. Alvaro blocking the ground and pound attempt from Adams. Alvaro tries to kick Adams off but Adams keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Adams thows a huge punch but Alvaro dodges it nicely.

Alvaro gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Adams works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Alvaro can't keep his opponent in guard - Adams advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Adams lands a nice short elbow. Adams seems to be working for a kimura but Alvaro defends the submission attempt. Alvaro is staying active underneath Adams, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adams wants to free his trapped foot but Alvaro is holding on for dear life with his legs. Adams is nestled in close to Alvaro, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Adams with the ground and pound but Alvaro uses the opportunity to regain guard. Adams postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Alvaro is looking to stand back up but Adams counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Alvaro. Adams moves nicely into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alvaro regains half guard there - taking advantage of Adams's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Adams missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Adams trying to mount his opponent but Alvaro defends it. Adams is nestled in close to Alvaro, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Adams is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Alvaro reverses the position - he's now on top in Adams's guard. Alvaro will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Alvaro is looking to stand up but Adams won't let him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alvaro won't allow Adams to sweep him here. Adams is trying to control the position but Alvaro postures up. Adams is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Alvaro wants to stand but Adams has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Alvaro stands and steps away. Adams gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Adams takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Adams misses with a low kick. A swing and a miss from Alvaro.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jose Alvaro. I think Alvaro has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Reyes definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Steam slips a straight right by Reyes. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Steam! But no joy. Reyes throws a body shot but no joy. Reyes lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Steam circles away quickly and effectively. Steam lands with a kick to the ribs.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reyes takes a shot right to the bread basket. Reyes bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Reyes misses with a straight left. A big left from Steam misses. It looked like Reyes was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Steam.

Smaug scores with a one two! Juggernaut had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Juggernaut keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
That has opened up Cinder Smaug's cut even more. Smaug lands with an overhand left. Juggernaut bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Smaug's head backwards. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Juggernaut drops Smaug with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Smaug looks back up at him and smiles so Juggernaut waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Smaug is still on wobbly legs! Can Juggernaut finish him? Juggernaut tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Smaug seems to have recovered his senses. Smaug is trying to break the clinch but Juggernaut has him pressed against the cage. Juggernaut is working Smaug over against the cage. Juggernaut stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Smaug blocks an uppercut.

Juggernaut connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Juggernaut checks a leg kick. Juggernaut blocks a low kick nicely. Juggernaut moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Smaug looks winded! Smaug rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Juggernaut moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Juggernaut feints and then cracks Smaug's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Smaug down. Smaug throws a leg kick but Juggernaut sees it coming and checks it nicely. Juggernaut fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Smaug manages to avoid it. Smaug keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Juggernaut connects with a body shot. Juggernaut avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Juggernaut bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A jab from Juggernaut finds it's way through Smaug's defenses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bo Juggernaut will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's time! Juggernaut's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Juggernaut tries to clinch up. Smaug's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Smaug throws an off balance right hand
and Smaug takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Juggernaut moves out of range of the strikes. Bo Juggernaut is winning the standup battle so far. Juggernaut missing with a left hand there. Smaug was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Smaug is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Juggernaut chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Smaug can pounce on him.

Smaug is looking to chop away at Juggernaut's legs. Juggernaut lands a big head kick that sends Smaug tumbling to the mat! Juggernaut takes a step backwards and waves Smaug back to his feet - he wants the finish! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Juggernaut misses with a hook. Smaug ducked under it nicely. Smaug throws a body shot but no joy. Juggernaut appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Smaug lands a right hook to the body.

Smaug throws a lazy right hand but Juggernaut sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Juggernaut is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Smaug. A jab from Juggernaut does it's job there.
The cut above Cinder Smaug's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Smaug lands a head kick!
Juggernaut dips to his left and cracks Smaug with an uppercut! Good standup being displayed there by Juggernaut as he connects with a hook. Juggernaut lands a brutal head kick. Smaug looks out on his feet and Juggernaut throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
