The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gilmore misses with a double jab
and Salama counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Salama. Salama gets through Gilmore's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Gilmore wants to get back to striking at distance but Salama won't allow it.
Salama pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Gilmore misses with an uppercut
and Salama counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Gilmore tries a head kick but it misses.

and Salama counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Gilmore looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. A slow jab from Gilmore misses its intended target. That was a close second round but I would say that Santeri Salama will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Santeri Salama's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Mullins stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the ropes but Jones runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
