The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mfer throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Rhod slips a straight right by Mfer. Mfer tries to clinch up and Rhod connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We've been told by Mfer's head coaches at ~T~ Troid - Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Mfer looks to land a body kick but Rhod moved away. Bishop lands a left and a right that send Tanaka crashing to the mat, dazed. Bishop thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Bishop fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Tanaka on the side of the head.
Tanaka is rocked! Bishop scores with a hook to the body. Tanaka takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Tanaka is still on wobbly legs! Can Bishop finish him? Bishop throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bishop sends Tanaka crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Bishop is motioning to the referee to let Tanaka up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Tanaka misses with a looping left. BOOM! Bishop lands a beautiful left hook that drops Tanaka. Tanaka tries to recover but Bishop is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Tanaka lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Com preventing the sweep. Koreshkov lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Com is on top in guard.

Koreshkov looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Com is looking to take a break and control but Koreshkov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Koreshkov regains full guard. Nicely done. Com controlling from the top position. Alexander Koreshkov has got the better of the ground game so far. Com stops Koreshkov from standing up. Koreshkov is trying to control the position but Com postures up. Com controls from within his opponent's guard. Koreshkov looking to hit a scissor sweep but Com is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Koreshkov manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Com manages to get himself to full guard.
Com is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Koreshkov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Com has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Koreshkov has managed to get both his arms back between Com's legs - danger averted. Koreshkov landing with the ground and pound. Koreshkov postures up in Com's guard and throws a big left but Com blocks it. Com working a defensive guard here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Com working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Koreshkov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Koreshkov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koreshkov is looking to work some ground and pound but Com has wrist control. Com lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Koreshkov isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Com stacks Koreshkov on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Com! Koreshkov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Koreshkov tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Com wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Koreshkov keeps trying to improve his position. Com is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Koreshkov is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Com off and has taken his back! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Koreshkov throwing sloppy strikes. Koreshkov is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moura cracks Montana with an open hand slap. Rickson Moura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Moura shoots in for a double leg but Montana sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Montana appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Moura swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Montana stuffs the takedown attempt from Moura. Moura gets slowly back to his feet. Moura looks for a takedown but Montana sprawls well. Leon Montana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rickson Moura. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. He's simply no match for Moura on the ground. Moura is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Montana is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Moura in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Montana tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Moura wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Moura has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Montana defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Moura. Leon Montana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rickson Moura. Moura scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Montana doesn't seem bothered though. Moura tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Montana defends well and Moura ends up having to push Montana into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Leon Montana. Well Moura has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dog connects with a solid leg kick. Nice sprawl there from Dog as Mayhem shoots in. Mayhem is looking to slow Dog down with leg kicks. Dog waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mayhem. A nice side step and Mayhem releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Dog keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mayhem. Mayhem slips a jab from Dog. Dog misses with a straight left. Mayhem blocks a jab. DeNeville lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! DeNeville makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. DeNeville is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
