Ted Meredith is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Poutine is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Poutine has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Meredith finds it's way round the side to connect with Poutine's head.

Meredith thuds a left hand into Poutine's body.
Poutine's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Meredith connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Poutine scrambles back to his feet.
Meredith cracks Poutine with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Poutine tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Meredith pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Poutine is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ted Meredith!
