Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Guido Carosella! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Duyanas! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carosella moves away from the strike by Duyanas. Good exchange - Carosella coming out on top. Duyanas throws a jab when Carosella was well out of range. Duyanas fails with a takedown attempt. Carosella thuds a left hand into Duyanas's body. Duyanas throws a big shot that misses. Duyanas connects with a crisp jab. Duyanas moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Carosella is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Duyanas. Duyanas throws a one two combo.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Duyanas is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Duyanas throws a jab but it's blocked by Carosella. Duyanas waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Carosella. Duyanas tests Carosella's chin there with a solid looking shot. Duyanas swings and misses with a hook to the body.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Carosella has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Carosella and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Duyanas misses with a looping right. Carosella avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Duyanas wants to slow Carosella down by chopping away at his legs. Duyanas has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Carosella swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Carosella had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. Carosella throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Carosella throws a jab when Duyanas was well out of range. A punch combination from Carosella misses. Duyanas loads up on a big right hand but Carosella slips the punch. Carosella is looking to counter punch. Duyanas looks to throw the jab but Carosella is out of range. Duyanas manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Carosella on his heels. He'll look to pass Carosella's guard now, I'm sure. Carosella looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Duyanas wants to get up but he can't break Carosella's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Carosella is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Duyanas avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Duyanas lands with a cross. Guido Carosella is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Duyanas clobbers Carosella with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Carosella looks to land a left hand but Duyanas moved out of range nicely. Carosella slips a jab from Duyanas. Duyanas dips to his left and cracks Carosella with an uppercut! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Duyanas with the inside leg kick. A big right from Carosella misses. Nice defenses there by Carosella. Carosella steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Duyanas. Carosella was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Duyanas shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Carosella darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Duyanas's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Carosella before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Hank fails in his attempt to clinch. Hank takes the fight into the clinch. Hotspot is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hank gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Hotspot told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. Hank creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Hank will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hotspot up against the cage. Hotspot gets a trip takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hank manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. And that's the end of the fight! Hill Billy Hank showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hank, winning every round. Will the judges agree? We've been hearing good reports from Dixon's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Takeda missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Takeda seems to be working for a kimura but Dixon defends the submission attempt. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Takeda working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Takeda is nestled in close to Dixon, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Dixon is trying to maintain the position but Takeda is very close to passing his half guard. Takeda throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Takeda looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Takeda looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dixon with a short hammerfist. Takeda might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Dixon haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Takeda looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Takeda bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dixon's guard. Dixon keeping moving, preventing Takeda from controlling successfully. Takeda throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Takeda looking to sit in guard and control but Dixon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Dixon stopping the sweep attempt from Takeda. Dixon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Takeda has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! Takeda drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Takeda jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

This is the final round! Dixon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Dixon waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Takeda. Dixon throws a series of punches but Takeda moves out of range. Dixon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Takeda does a little dance to reset his feet. Dixon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Takeda circles away quickly and effectively.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kekkonen lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Spong avoids the body shot from Kekkonen.
Kekkonen stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Spong moves out of range of the body kick. Kekkonen throws a leg kick but Spong checks it. A big left from Kekkonen misses. A bone on bone clash there as Spong blocks the leg kick.

Nagibatel escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Panda moves to clinch but Nagibatel breaks away and Nagibatel counters with a leg kick. Nagibatel throws a low kick, looking for Panda's leg but Panda calmly moves out of range. Panda shoots in for a takedown but Nagibatel shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. A head kick misses from Nagibatel. Panda tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Panda closes the distance and clinches. Nagibatel lands a nice shot to the body. Nagibatel lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Panda wants to take the fight to the mat but Nagibatel manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Nagibatel scores with an uppercut up the middle. Nagibatel's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A bone on bone clash there as Panda blocks the leg kick.
