The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Herro takes the fight into the clinch.
I was talking to Bik's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Herro tries to break the clinch but Bik is controlling the position.
Herro is pressed up against the cage. Bik has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Herro down to the mat. Herro avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Bik is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Herro pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Bik really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

With a record of 6 - 8 - 1, fighting out of London, Brendan Lawson!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Lawson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Burrows counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Burrows is trying to control Lawson's posture but Lawson avoids it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
