These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Royster works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. We've been informed that Royster has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Delsarte tries for a takedown but Primo circles away easily and Primo counters with a beautiful punch that sends Delsarte to the canvas! It looks like Gauthier Delsarte has been cut. Delsarte controls Primo momentarily but Primo frees himself. Primo trying to control the position from guard on top but Delsarte is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Delsarte can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Primo controls the pace. Primo looking to pass the guard. Primo seems content to control from guard here. With a record of 20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, KT Panda! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alistair Ubereem! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Panda waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ubereem. A countering left hand to the body from Ubereem misses. A head kick misses from Panda. Panda fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ubereem manages to avoid it. Ubereem avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

We've been informed that Ubereem has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Ubereem connects with a body shot that sends Panda's belly button to the back. Panda uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ubereem. Ubereem misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ubereem takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Panda buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Panda's jab looks to have found its range, popping Ubereem under the eye. That kick from Panda tenderised Ubereem's leg. Ubereem is trying to keep his angry face on. Ubereem keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Panda throws a chopping leg kick but Ubereem manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Ubereem uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Panda has time to react. Ubereem looks like he wants to counter punch here. Panda's corner calls for a 1-2. Panda obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. That has opened up Alistair Ubereem's cut even more. Ubereem ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Panda moves away. Panda scores with a nice head shot. Ubereem misses the shot to the body. Panda looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Ubereem is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Panda had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. That was a close round but I would say that KT Panda will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ubereem looks to land a body kick but Panda moved away. Ubereem misses with a body shot. Ubereem ducks under a wild hook from Panda. It seemed like Ubereem was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Panda tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. and Ubereem counters with a nice right hand that sends Panda toppling to the canvas! Panda scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Ubereem finish him?! Oh Panda is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ubereem looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Ubereem backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Panda's temple! It sends Panda violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Ubereem celebrates and the doctors try to help Panda!
