And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Inbrib Ngacousinfukker!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Anthony Taglia and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Woodward is defended easily by Ngacousinfukker.
As Woodward backs off Ngacousinfukker throws a huge counter combo but Woodward manages to avoid it all.
Ngacousinfukker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Ngacousinfukker fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Woodward sprawls well initially but Ngacousinfukker persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Woodward makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Woodward.
Woodward on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Woodward tries to get out of the position.
Woodward is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ngacousinfukker wants to advance to full mount but Woodward doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Woodward looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Ngacousinfukker puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Ngacousinfukker not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Woodward is looking to improve his position.
Ngacousinfukker is pressing down on Woodward's thigh, looking to free his foot. Woodward is holding on for now.
Woodward is looking to get back to full guard here but Ngacousinfukker has managed to pass to side control instead.
Woodward wants to control but Ngacousinfukker postures up.

Woodward tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Woodward fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ngacousinfukker to the ground. Woodward is now in Ngacousinfukker's guard.
Ngacousinfukker lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Woodward is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Woodward doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Woodward has control of Ngacousinfukker's left arm, preventing Ngacousinfukker from doing any damage.
Ngacousinfukker has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Woodward looking for a guillotine here but Ngacousinfukker defends easily.

Ngacousinfukker throws an elbow that misses. Woodward uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ngacousinfukker's guard. Nice move by Woodward!

Ngacousinfukker controls Woodward momentarily but Woodward frees himself.
Ngacousinfukker wants to stand and escape but Woodward is having none of it.
Woodward has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ngacousinfukker takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Woodward is looking to take a break and control but Ngacousinfukker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Woodward just content to control the position.
Ngacousinfukker is still in real trouble! Can Woodward finish him?
