Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Batang Kock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fredrik Loow!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loow shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kock but Kock pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Loow is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kock sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Kock.
Kock connects with a solid leg kick.
Loow takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Nice uppercut lands for Kock. That snapped Loow's head back.
Loow fails to land the takedown.
Batang Kock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fredrik Loow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kock's jab looks to have found its range, popping Loow under the eye.
Kock darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Good leg kick by Kock there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kock scores with the left hand. Loow knows he should have avoided that one.

Kock clinches up against the cage.

Kock on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Kock lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Kock lands a body shot in the clinch.
Kock slows down the pace here.
Kock definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Kock manages to break the clinch.

Loow walks into a left hand.
Loow throws a lazy head kick
and Kock cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kock cracks the inside of Loow's front leg.
Loow misses with a left hand
and Loow takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Loow fails with the takedown
and Kock counters with a right hand to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kock.
A punch lands to the side of Loow 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kock cracks Loow with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Loow walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kock lands a nice leg kick that just misses Loow's sensitive parts.
Kock with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Loow shoots in and drives through. Kock sprawls well.
Kock fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Loow, pushing him back against the cage.
Kock's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kock uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Loow has time to react.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kock.
Loow drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Good standup being displayed there by Kock as he connects with a hook.
A jab from Kock finds it's way through Loow's defenses.
Kock shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Loow eats them both and turns towards Kock to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Loow is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kock pounces like a tiger and cracks Loow with a vicious hook! Loow is down but not out! Kock follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Batang Kock!
