Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rufus Black (ranked 4782 p4p, 6296 weight class) and Marten Marsimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marsimoto has chosen Green Berlin as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Black throws a leg kick that is checked
and Marsimoto counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Black lands a head kick. Marsimoto smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Marsimoto closes the distance and clinches.
Marsimoto scores with a shoulder strike.
Black's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Black is trying to break free.
Black wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Marsimoto keeps control of Black as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Marsimoto creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Marsimoto will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Black up against the cage.

Black is breathing heavily.
Marsimoto is pushing Black up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Marsimoto has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Black seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Marsimoto can turn it around.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Oh Black is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Clinched against the cage, Marsimoto lands a big elbow that drops Black! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Black is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
