Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyson James (ranked 2129 p4p, 2196 weight class) and Kolby Khaos (ranked 232 p4p, 239 weight class). Kolby Khaos will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyson James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kolby Khaos! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Khaos keeping moving, preventing James from controlling successfully. James cracks Khaos with a solid left hand. James scoring with punches to the head and body. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Khaos not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
James throwing strikes but missing. James lands a couple of elbows. Khaos trying to keep a closed guard but James is proving a slippery customer.
James works over Khaos with some ground and pound from guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. James makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. James thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells James's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Khaos is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. James slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Khaos is still in real trouble! Can James finish him? Khaos is looking for a sweep. Khaos seems to have recovered his senses. James looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. James stands up. James is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Khaos's half guard. Khaos looking for submissions off his back. James is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Khaos told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. James winds up and cracks Khaos with a swinging punch to the side of the head. James lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. James is trying to control the action in half guard but Khaos is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. James lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Khaos quite badly. Khaos pulls James in close trying to recover. James postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Khaos on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Khaos doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyson James! An intense looking Tyson James took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'I'M THE FUCKING CHAMPION! YOU HAVE TO BRING AN ARMY TO TAKE THIS FROM ME! I'M THE GREATEST EVER'.
