Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Khazmat Shlemenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Phil Quincy!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.

Shlemenko moves into range and clinches up with Quincy.

Quincy breaks from the clinch.
Quincy misses with a few strikes there.
Quincy thows a leg kick but Shlemenko checks it
and Shlemenko counters with a left and a right that stings Quincy.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Shlemenko.
You can see the frustration on Quincy's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Shlemenko has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Shlemenko misses with a takedown attempt - Quincy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Shlemenko fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Quincy to the ground. Shlemenko is now in Quincy's guard.

Quincy is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Shlemenko presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Shlemenko has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Quincy avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Shlemenko feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Quincy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Quincy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
