Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paulin paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Spike throws a body punch but Paulin moves out of range.
Paulin misses with the combination.
Spike throws the left hand but Paulin avoids the punch easily.
Paulin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Spike looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Paulin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Spike cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Paulin dips to his left and cracks Spike with an uppercut!
Paulin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Spike moves away.
Spike lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Spike throws a hook to the side of Paulin's head but Paulin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Spike takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Paulin connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Spike tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Paulin is able to avoid easily.

Spike swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Paulin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Spike lands a big uppercut and Paulin crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Paulin looks OK. Spike waves Paulin back to his feet!

Spike throws a hook but Paulin avoids it easily.
Oh Paulin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Paulin misses the shot to the body.
Paulin seems to have got his legs back now.
Paulin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Paulin tried to counter with a leg kick but Spike avoided it.

Some bone on bone action there as Spike checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Thierry Paulin's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Paulin will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Paulin gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!

In his post fight interview, Sunray Spike started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
